Re: Misc Credit Card Questions
I know this was discussed a few times on DDF but can’t find it.
Can I have my chase personal and business cards in 1 log in?
Yes. the personal card could be linked to the business log in.

Re: Advantage card/citigold checking bonus 50k offer
It took about 3.5 months for me and I didn't get any charge.
I just did it recently, it took over 3 months and i wasn't charged.

Re: Advantage card/citigold checking bonus 50k offer
do you mean that the entire process from opening a bank acct until you received the actual AA miles was only 3-3.5 months?

and they didn't charge you anything despite NOT having $50k as balance for all that time, despite it being contrary to the fine print of offer?

I did the TYP offer, But yes and yes on your questions

Re: Global Entry
If I reapply, will Amex reimburse the GE fee again? Probably not. And GE doesn’t refund if application is canceled.
Use a different card that offers the GE credit.

Re: How to make a hotkey for data entry?
Is there a way to make a hotkey on desktop for data entry. Say I use "1234" in different programs and forms. Can a hotkey be made for this where it will enter "1234" no matter which program or form I am using?
I hope the word is not 'Kool-Aid'...

Never crossed my mind and THANK YOU!!!
Now I will need a cheat sheet just for the political thread.  :)
That's to short to justify a hotkey. More likely "need to get out more"

Re: Misc Credit Card Questions
so you mean that even if those charges remain in pending status until 9/14, thereby passing my official 9/12 statement close date, when it posts it will only have a date of when I actually swiped the card (9/11)?

September 11, 2019, 02:14:17 PM
Re: Questions and Help for BEGINNERS!
meaning that the statement will be using date when it went off the pending list and NOT when it was actually swiped/charged?
Correct. but it will still post with the 'transaction' date, even if it will be due on the next statement.

I love DDF lol. This is so helpful. Checked on my ink applied for yesterday and I got 2 week message. Question: does this mean I am definitely under 5/24? Or not necessarily. I wasn't 100% sure.
Yes. If you were over 5/24 it would have been a automatic denial

Re: Amex F/R Master Thread
I have a F/R on mine and on my DW account, We filed a joint return, is there any DP if the 4506t could clash? (i.e. the IRS will not release the return twice in the same time period)
Ok so we sent in the 4506t for my DW account, and they got back to us that unfortunately they are closing all of her accounts due to that the amount on the return is insufficient for the amount of credit that she has. She tried to ask why they can't just lower the credit line, but they said that the decision is already made and there is nothing they could do.
However they said that she is always welcome to apply for a new card, so we did so the next morning (yesterday), and she got Approved!

Re: New Coin Deal
Dan is becoming a bit too commercial with all the sponsored posts, constant "Hurry!!" Amazon junk for referrals, rules like these that can be "bought", etc.

Mostly moving to Dr of Credit, feel like they are much more community focused.
why isn't there a 'dislike' button??

Re: Amex Closed Accounts
Where do you know that from?
I got the refund on a few cards after being shut down.
Same here.
My DW called on one card, the Rep said nothing doing, She asked for a supervisor who manually issued a refund, Today i noticed that the AF is credited twice..
On a second card the AF is prorated without asking anything.
My DW also asked if she could redeem the cash back that was still pending, the supervisor said that it is already forfeited, However we noticed today that the cash back is posted as a credit on the account...

Re: Unemployment Help
wow. thanks for pointing that out. I've updated the wiki accordingly
The text of the final bill mentions only Medicaid and Chip.
(Sec. 2104) "(h) Disregard Of Additional Compensation For Purposes Of Medicaid And CHIP.—The monthly equivalent of any Federal pandemic unemployment compensation paid to an individual under this section shall be disregarded when determining income for any purpose under the programs established under titles XIX and title XXI of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq., 1397aa et seq.)"

Does that mean that if it totals more than $3,600 one would lose the EITC?
AFAIK only investment income will disqualify you from EIC

You don't need it for the original application. Only if they reach out and ask.
And when they ask, they will accept a passport instead (IME).

Re: Unemployment Help According the FAQ from the DOL it looks like the $100 threshold is the amount a claimant is eligible to receive, not what they actually receive. (i.e. a person with a WBA of $182 but works 2 days)

"Receiving at least $100
7. Question: How does a state determine if an individual meets the eligibility requirement
under the Presidential Memo that he or she must receive at least $100 in benefits for the
underlying unemployment benefit program?
Answer: This eligibility provision is determined at the individual level based on the
individual’s weekly benefit amount (WBA). An individual is determined to have
received at least $100 per week for purposes of being an “eligible claimant” if the
individual’s WBA as provided on the monetary determination is at least $100 (including
I-4 any dependents’ allowance). In addition, the week in question must be considered

Re: Unemployment Help
I'm getting reports of a second Docusign coming in for those who only had 10 weeks on their first Docusign.
Not yet sure if this is only for those who called in to request the missing backpay, or if it's automatic for all claimants missing some weeks.
I could confirm that they sent it also without calling in.
But IME, as of now, they only sent it to those who recently completed the docusign.

Re: Unemployment Help Finally its clearly stated:
A: The LWA program’s $100 cutoff is based on a claimant’s benefit base rate, which is calculated before any deductions or reductions. Because the minimum weekly benefit rate in New York is $104 for UI and $182 for PUA, all claimants in New York are above the $100 cutoff. That means you can still qualify for the $300 LWA payment if your UI or PUA payment in a given week is below $100 because of taxes, part-time work, or other reductions.

August 27, 2020, 02:16:34 PM
Re: Unemployment Help

The first 3 weeks is already over 19 Billion (with not all states already awarded).
So at this rate it won't be enough money for more than 6 weeks.

Schumer said it will pass this week. March 14 was the old deadline.
After it passes the senate it still needs to get back to the house and then to the presidents desk for his signature.

Re: Unemployment Help

I believe that recipients of PUA will continue to be eligible till Sep 2021 because of the new spending bill that was passed, but would like to hear what other info other members have.
Did anybody else get this when recertifying today?

PUA benefits were extended through the American Rescue Plan & the legislation goes into effect this week. If you were told that your PUA benefits were exhausted after certifying, please disregard the message. Keep certifying weekly to receive your benefits without lapse.

The first one was also based on 2018.
