Re: Space X Launch
Is that a joke or is there a report I missed?

Doesn't matter. As long as you tweet it and it gets top 3 most liked tweets of all time.

Re: Allegiant Air safety concerns? Well if this piece was from a pilot refusing to fly then you might be on to something.

My warning sign is pilots refusing to fly. If they are confident with the maintenance, I'm confident. They spend much more time on the metal tube. Their life is at higher stakes.

Re: National Free Day Coupons Master Thread
Many rental companies have very good one way rates now due to Corona

Go to them, why are you even here?

Still mad because your low ball offer got back fired from the extension?

Re: Solo Lawyer (S-Corp) Moving Out Of CA - Will I Avoid CA Taxes? First of all,
This opinion is for general information purposes and should not be relied upon as tax advice. This is not intended to be a substitute for consultation with counsel and does not constitute legal or other professional advice or an opinion of any kind.

The simple short answer is NO. Even as non resident you still owe tax from CA source of income.

Nice try but this is CA you are dealing with, you don't rip them, they rip you.

Ever consider hiring a CPA or at least buying those tax software? They do address all your issues.

Re: Space X Launch

What kind of CPUs does Crew Dragon run in comparison to regular desktop CPUs? I know that there are multiple CPUs for redundancy but how would one of those units compare to, let's say, a desktop i9 9900k?

We use a dedicated quad core processor, similar in power to a 5 year old phone. - Sofian

What a funny question, they probably think space needs the latest and most powerful CPU, a custom design i11 50000k server grade.
People think Elon is mining bitcoins in space???
Most people probably never realize size and heat is a big negative in space.

They forget to realize we landed on the moon with a 2Mhz processor. The space shuttle uses 8086 CPU, and the ISS is running under a 80386 system.

Re: Split YouTube TV
There are issues with doing this, mostly that there is some periodic requirement to log in from the "home" geography.

We have been unable to share with a close friend because when I log in it says, "hey log in from home and then maybe we can give you tv" (paraphrasing obviously).

I would love to split this, but I'm not sure how viable it is.

"Please sign in from your home area"

Happens every 1-2 months.

Re: Can rental company charge you after they close the contract? Under T&C normally they can.

Now you also have to be truthful here, how did you get salt around the tires. If you've been using the car off-road (they can tell, it's their job), you should have cleaned it and cover up your mess (and sometimes they can still tell, it's their job). Cleaning fee will be the least to worry if you breach the rental agreement.

If this was just driving normally, I suggest calling SLC manager first, then their corporate. I've never heard of anyone charged for cleaning under normal use. Now smoking or spilling coffee, that I've heard few times.

Last resort is file a CC dispute.

Re: Laptop Deals Master Thread

is this a good laptop for multitasking?
Wiki says inspiron is YMMV

People needs to define what they are actually trying to do with their computers.

You need to be clear about the task you are multitasking.  ;D

Going between 4000 page word doc and 2 million rows of spreadsheet with full of formulas, while compiling a 4K movie.......NO
Going between a 3D game on medium-high settings and editing large complex Photoshop file.....NO
Going between Netflix, 20 browser tabs, and 5000 rows of spreadsheet with some formulas..... YES
Going between your Gmail and 5 browser tabs.....MORE THAN YES

Re: (Dead) Price Mistake? T Fusion Steakhouse via uber eats
@TheDroid You forget to check the name of this forum gonna give you a hint,  DansdealsFourms
And most deals aren't published sales :)

Aren't we all here for good deals?  ;D
I am very well aware.  The question is are you?
There is still a fine line between deals and taking advantage of a mistake.

This isnít a question of ethics but ok

Bigger issue than ethics here is issues about ethnic discrimination?
I dont think its right to take advantage of a price mistake from a Jewish store.
So you are fine taking advantage of other ethnicity?

Re: If there is COVID-19 vaccine will you get it.

Conclusion for this hour long media, 1 thinks vaccine is good, 1 thinks vaccine is bad, 1 is a referee adding more heat, 0 facts provided to audience.

This is why media these days are a waste of time.
They don't provide you facts. They just bring people to talk.
They pit 2 or more biased opinion people to argue each other.
I can be on any of these shows and talk whatever crap I wanted to.
The more famous the bigger d**ks they are.
This is no different then watching wrestling trash talk just without one sneaking up and slapping another with a chair.
I get more useful stuff watching Oprah or HSN.
Waste of time.
