Re: Its Open Season on Jews
That is definitely true, however it is OUR country
It's not our country now, it will be again our country iy"h when moshiach comes soon , now it isn't safer to live there then anywhere in the world and it isn't our country and it dosen't say anywhere that a yid should live in Israel while in gules, we are in גלות unfortunately in the whole world and ידוע שעשו שונא ליעקב and we shouldn't fight or be wise in גלות , we made ourselves too comfortable in America, we forgot, we just immigrated 70 years ago and we should act like foreigners, being in the media daily with politicians and showing the world we almost own America via kushner for example or busy using America for israel propaganda is just backfiring us ,that rises antisimitesim, thats the total truth to it, we are in גלות till moshiach comes soon and we need to sit still, there is הלכות and a תורה and we have rules how to go on , its not just what our feelings or emotions say what to do.

Re: Teaneck, NJ
Haven't tried the pizza yet. Hobo sandwich is really good. My wife really likes their grilled cheese. My daughter devours their pancakes. Smoothies and frapps are great, large and only $5.50.
My only wish is that it had more seating and looked nicer, but if they renovated, then they'd probably raise their prices.
Poppys did renovate
And they don't serve chalav yisroel if you don't ask , not all milky products they have chalav yisroel,
And I think its very wrong for restaurants to have both , its confusing and not possible to mix up

Re: Re: So How Was Your Shul This Week?
Location: Monsey

Friday night: suprisingly, the olam was behaving. Tables were set up in such a way that there was around 8 feet between people front to back, and, so long as people only sat at either end of the table, just around 6 feet side by side. Sure, some people were a bit closer to others, but overall it was pretty successful and it felt lovely to be back at shul.

Shabbos morning: came to shul early to stake out the spot that worked so great for me yesterday, only to find the shul pretty packed with most people sitting wherever they wanted. Walked right out and davened at home.

Shabbos afternoon: again, came a few minutes early only to find that they moved up the regular davening time and I missed it by an hour. The others who came at this time went all wise-men-of-Chelm and decided to go daven in someone's house instead of staying in the large shul. I davened at home once more.

At all times, I was the absolutely only person wearing a mask. Had me doubt if I'm the crazy one.
Besides this shabbos going to shul and left in middle...
If i may ask , what else do you do the rest of the week? Do you go to work? Shopping? Errands? Staying at home full time ?
Just curious
I haven't seen social distancing neither in Manhattan stores or in bank  when i was there,
walmart or target upstate when i went neither
And masks were so so , NYC masks wearing is very off either in Brooklyn or Manhattan

So i don't see why the fuss to overrate it when it comes to daven to hashem , hahsem sent the מגיפה and took away the מגיפה, time to get back to normal especially davening like a yid.

Btw i am Orlando Florida so minyan was in a house squeezed together about 70 people including kids with a big kiddush after davening , there was no one with masks since in Florida you don't need to wear them

Re: Is Covid Spiking in Boro Park?
We made a chasunah in BP two weeks ago and that night Cuomo's threats were being carried out. The manager of the hall was very nervous, showing us texts he was getting from managers of other BP halls (I believe four got shut down that night). Ours was not impacted. I heard that the next week at least one or two BP halls were either closed or not having indoor seating for meals. Possibly Cuomo lost interest and they started up again, but have not been following since.

No one will be paying 3k a week without prior experience
Did your mother ever said if you don't have anything to say better be quite

Not sure what your agenda is , i am sure you have some sort of agenda,
because I don't just believe that you are so negative and just a misrable human being...

I remember when such people with agendas or negative people said all this on every new yishev, bh we got 10 new yeshiveim where chasidish people can move now days and iy"h Florida is next, with such attitude of yours people would have stayed living in 4 rooms with 12 kids on 4th floor walk ups ...but there is plenty of options out there because positive thinking people moved on and didn't listen to the pessimists..

Re: New Chassidish Community Being Planned in Tampa
Where do you fit in to this development? Buyer? investor?
Non of those
Just a positive thinker and believer, it's not a secret that the chasidish community needs more housing and more neighborhoods that there should be reasonable housing

The least I can do besides investing or being a asken , is spreading nice words about each and every new yishev ,and that's what everyone can do

I am proud that i have encouraged many yinglat to move to new yeshivem, that's the only way to help ourselves and for our children

All existing big chasidish yishevim brand new housing is far from reasonable

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo One good point out of this wedding ,and other huge events by chasidim and weddings happening as usual ,is that thousands of people without masks and no social distancing and no uptick what so ever burich hashem !

Vs others with masks and social distancing and the uptick rises anyway

Total outcome is , You can't escape from the virus , either you get it now or later

To back it up with proof is  like others said , the 2nd wave has already had its peak by the chasidish oilem in September , and it was very mild because the first wave was very strong vs general population

This is all if  you live in reality,if you live in denial and phobias then you can go live in a bunker for rest of your life

And btw this is what bothers coumo ,and the same reason why he wanted everything closed back in September, because he didn't wanted to see the truth in his face while he released his book

And the major point that schools are open as usual by the chasidish for months and nothing b"h happened, he just can't tolerate the reality and the truth

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo
Anash.org is a private website, not an official Chabad website. It's the same true for Der Blatt?

Second, are you really comparing a handful of people going around without masks to thousands crammed into a room for a wedding?

There are plenty of other visits rabbi Lazar made which show him wearing a mask. Clearly he was going by what those around him were doing.

I'm not saying he did right, IMHO he should not have been maskless, and probably shouldn't have made any of those visits at all, let alone publicly. But you really can't compare
1800-who cares
Haters will always hate
You want to wear a mask , wear them , you don't want to? Don't wear them !
Btw the blatt is a private owned company same as anash.org

Frum yidden in
Williamsburg
Boro park
Monsey
Monroe
Lakewood
And Other areas are having weddings as usual b"h and had most of the time, schools and yeshivas were open and is open b"h most of time b"h  , same to shuls , mass gatherings/big weddings/tishen on shabbos and so also ,most of them aren't wearing masks or social distancing indoors, outdoors some have masks,
you don't like it , stay home, wear a mask, do social distancing ,you won't convince those thousands of yidden otherwise anyways , waste of your time or energy
, I don't know what the argument is even here

Everyone has made up their minds already almost 9 months ago, there is nothing new besides that the virus is b"h almost completely gone.

Yes the people are ignorant and people Die bla bla , chulil hashem and ... 9 months and counting over and over these statements and it is what it is .

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo
Many frum communities attempt to keep their population insular by polarizing both their people against the outside world and the outside world against them. That's the philosophy behind the claims here that 'they will always hate us' so there is no reason to avoid antagonizing them. It hurts all of us and is very contrary to countless Halachas enacted specifically to avoid offending non-Jews, but usually it comes from a good place of trying to keep people on the derech.
Lol
You talking so much nonsense and you have no clue what you are talking about but keep on writing about your data ... its hilarious
After 9 months of covid in the states and a human being can still talk about data must be living under a rock ... the biggest doctors gave up on data, every data they have today, they come up with total the opposite data the next morning, they are clueless and no one has a clue or a way out of it, we must believe hashem knows what he is doing , but you lost me talking about data
If you think that  רצון השם and הלכה someone comes on Dan's deals to hear your opinion on it then I don't know what to tell you.. I am lost
Good night enough nonsense for one night

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo
Hopefully it will be soon enough with a vaccine.

But unfortunately you can't say its almost completely gone when there are still people contracting it. Even within the chasidish communities. And even if most are very mild, unfortunately there are some serious cases. There was just  a young mother of 5 who passed away with the youngest being a preemie who will never know his mother. This is not to be taken lightly.
Well you saw the news I guess about maimonides hospital, I am not controlling the world , but it's sad that BP Hatzolah oa still taking patients over there

There is every year people dying from the flu even there is vaccines, it's very silly to believe that the vaccines will be our hope, it's still better then nothing but far from a ישועה
And people will still die same like the flu yearly and other diseases

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo
There are proportionally more frum Jews in hospitals now than the rest of the population. You just don't care about their lives. I personally know a frum person in NY who is now clinging to his life in a hospital because of reckless, careless people like you. I hope you do Teshuva, it is never too late.
You are totally wrong

And I am done with you

Atleast you proved me that you are talking bougus full of hate , now you can claim what ever you want, how many chasidish yidden live in NYC and how many are In hospital with covid for the last month? And how many hospitalizations are in total nyc from covid?
You don't need to answer me because i know the answer
Bye bye
Nice try

Re: Re: Czar Cuomo
Yes I/we know all about Miamonides and the רשעים that they are.

But that still doesn't mean the virus is almost completely gone.

B"h a lot less people are dying than pesach time, but that doesn't mean its ok that 10 people or even 1 person should die.

Bottom line is that every person should continue to live their life as they see fit but without putting others into danger and being responsible for maybe causing them a disease that will kill them.

And if Satmar (or whoever else) wants to have big weddings and tishen they should at least keep their mouth shut. Mistakes are not acceptable.
So what is the reason of the other few 100k people that died in the world? Also because satmar? LoL

If there is no prove that makes help but even dr. Facuci said once that masks are dangerous, so how can you tell what the cause is?  And not sure if you live on planet earth, but people are dying daily even they wore masks and even they kept social distancing, so how can it be it helps?
Can you point fingers that since simchas tora people died because of simchas tora?
Again no one forces anyone to do anything, you want to stay home then stay home, I was by a few  chasidish weddings the past weeks and there were alot of grand parents over 60 that were home they didn't come, each to to their own , anyone can choose what they want, no one forced anyone to leave their houses or go to shul

Re: Czar Cuomo

Is he even religious? Ach! I know. I can't tell you, but I know.
Is everyone on Dan's deals forum religious? I have found plenty of ex frum yidden on other jewish forums, you can never know with whom you arguing with especially when someone has lots of hate against frum yidden

Re: Satmar Wedding 7,000 people during covid
Btw, I'm the same religion as @CountValentine. Except I wear a shtreimel on Shabbos . Must be surprising that I can have a good English too.

Ok, I'll forgive the mistake. I just hope you can admit that the chillul hashem created was uncalled for.
A shtriemel or even my next door neighbor dosen't mean that you don't hate chasidim

Re: Satmar Wedding 7,000 people during covid
But they'll be wrong because the Chassidim that started the virus wear different color socks to you, so in actual fact haters started the virus, not Chassidim.
No , they just discovered that covid started from chasidim ,from the chasidim it spread to china and from china to the whole world, that it came from china  is a trump hoax to protect the chasidim,
Below you have more details how it went
