So I am see that my question was not as clear as I would've preferred. I read here that livigent made their filter for the LG exalt free. Is there anyone who knows of a way to put on the filter at home? I can't exactly start running to stores at the moment!

Alcatel is the worst! I know of multiple different models. I have friends who only use talk and text. The problems range from either being slow when you text, incoherent phone conversations, to just overall cheap laggy phones. Some models scroll through the entire text conversation automatically when you click on it to bring you to the end. It's not a well thought out phone. Not sure if this helps anyone, but I spoke to tello today. Now with the T-Mobile Sprint merger, tello now offers GSM. So I wouldn't say that you're stuck to only garbage Alcatel phones. The only thing you need to keep in mind, is that the phone has to be VOLte compatible.

To me it's a little odd that a company like Alcatel would spend so much money on some Chinese garbage. These phones run on a cheap OS which sells phenomenally in other cheap third world countries and therefore most people who buy these phones can't really afford an expensive phone. What is VoLTE technology and why is it different that regular 4g bands?
I was speaking to a phone rep at Tello yesterday, and they told me that while they now sort GSM network, the phone must be VoLTE compatible as well. What does this mean, and what's the difference?

What is the difference between VoLTE 4g and regular 4g? My phone is a 4g phone, but apparently doesn't have VOLte. Based on your response, I am understanding that it's a option of using data instead of regular service to make a call

It's the same phone as the Verizon LG Exalt, but it was made for gsm this providers. I don't remember exactly which one was made for. Essentially, it's the same thing as the LG un220

anyone know if the schok flip phone is a decent phone or talk and text ?There seems to be mixed reviews over this phone. Some people say that it holds up well, and some people say that it's trash. The way it was described to me is that it's not an Alcatel, and it's not a NUU. However, it's not either an LG or a Kyocera. Meaning, the quality is kind of in between. Especially true seeing as the market gets slimmer and slimmer the less 'kosher' the phone is. While i personally would like spotify on my phone, it seems like an added cost which will be damaging to the overall product from a sellers perspective.Agreed. For that price I could just go filter a smartphone. Although, seems like some people are looking for a smartphone with a actual keyboard. Is there a way to get rid of this? It's really bothering me. I used to be able to press the button to show new replies to your posts very easy. On mobile it's a huge pain to have to sit there zooming in. It's a good idea, but maybe just move it to the other side of the screen.

They say the GOP has a crazy fringe (which includes DJT) and should be doing more to distance themselves from it. Could be I'm wrong, but that's not the impression I've been getting recently. I know people still using 3g, but I googled it and it seems that at&t is passing out the 3g network at the end of '22, but the no longer allow 3g activations. So if you need a phone your out of luck. I haven't seen any basic 4g phones with a keyboard  , unless @Kosher_Cellutions ends up coming out with a keyboard phone , hopefully in the near future. (Though it's not looking good  )
