"Let the free market sort it out"

"Hey free market, stop canceling!"

Part of the free market is the ability to call people out when you think they are doing something wrong.

What?

He can reestablish  the border agreement with Mexico on the other South American countries.

(Title and thumbnail are clickbait lies.)

Not sure why he says blue is not mentioned in Torah. Pretty sure techelas is a shade of blue.

Re: Ben Shapiro
Still experimental, and not without its detractors - so no guarantee it'll be available for production use anytime soon.

Sooner then any government project.

I'd put money on our excess going down south faster than north.
could be, but I would be surprised if at least a portion does not go up north. And they donít need much they are a very small country by population.

Re: Show support for our law enforcement officers
As someone that has been; pulled over more then once for no reason, got dozens of parking tickets, towed multiple times. Good riddance. The city has WAY too much police. NYPD literally has police force of a small country military.
you wish, City will just hire more traffic cops they are money makers. regular cops on the other hand I am not so sure about....

Re: The demise of the Republican Party
I have seen talk about path to citizenship from the last few administrations. The fact is they are not allowed to vote when they cross.
Now voter suppression laws are real and have been passed.

The election is over. Isn't it time to stop drinking the Kool-aid?

which voting laws you think are voter suppression?

Re: Would this change the shidduch picture conversation?
I'm 25, have never been on a date, and never really went to a shadchan, for some of those reasons posted above.  I think that the current Shidduch sytem is broken and I don't really want to be a part of it

Honestly I know I don't fit into the cookie cutter one size fits all category and I don't want to be put into some of those situations that people have posted above.

That doesn't mean I have no idea what I'm talking about.

That is really not the way to do things. I get is scary but you need to put yourself out there into the system. We can all complain but it is better then anything else out there.

Btw a lot of the complaints on here are valid but do not have any easy fixes. A lot goes to the complexities of the human condition.

Re: Please explain why it went up in price 2021
When the bubble pops, there will be many more options and much, much better pricing.

If inflation hits it does not matter if the bubble pops it will still be more expensive.

Re: Please explain why it went up in price 2021
That's not true, unless we hit a sweet spot for inflation. The laws of supply and demand still rule. Inflation can cause a sharp increase in supply, too.
it wonít matter if there is more supply the value/ buying power of the dollar will be much less. So Prices would have to come down dramatically to be cheaper then todayís prices.

Re: Please explain why it went up in price 2021
In my area, where the prices haven't skyrocketed as much as many other areas, prices are reaching now where they were at the peak of the bubble 15 years ago. When that bubble burst, townhouses that were selling for $220k could be had for $60k. Now, not all bubbles are the same and circumstances surrounding the before and after will be different, but if you can get a house for half of what it's going for now, you'd be betting on hyperinflation kicking in to justify the difference. With hyperinflation comes economic collapse, and even more buying opportunities.

depends on which market but that type of price decline is very rare even in a downturn.

Explain tuition.... schools just landed billions in PPP, plus more billions from food packages/bread lines, plus billions in grants for plexiglass and hand sanitizers. They'll never admit they don't need my money anymore, but why would tuition increase?
I think you are overstating how much they got. At most they got 2 and half months worth of salary and if they fudged a little they got 4 months. Not familiar enough with the other programs built I doubt they got as much as you think.

Re: Please explain why it went up in price 2021
Again, supply and demand. The supply is going to skyrocket within the next 6-24 months (barring very, very significant government interference).
too much money going around now so I would push that timeline a bit. Another point is now interest rates are very very low once inflation hits it is likely to go up so even if the price does get cheaper your effective payment goes up or stays flat.

Re: War in Israel
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Shaykh_Muwannis

That is in 1948 years into the fighting.
Saying Arabs where scared in a time of war and there for chased out is a very big stretch of reality.

Itís like two people are on a football field and one pulls out a knife and then the other one pulls out a gun and chases him off the field....

Re: War in Israel
In the simplest sense of the term - they came with guns, the Palestinians ran away, and the Jews seize their houses. Today those neighborhoods are known as Ramat Eshkol, Rechavia, Katamon, Telabiya, to name a few.

There is no problem with Jewish growth. The point is in 1930 the overwhelming majority of Israel was Palestinian. Much of their land was taken away from them.

Who came with guns? When was it? Why did they come with guns?

We canít just pull out selective information, context matters.
