Re: EZPass Newbie
It will not work. It must be used with the car that you applied for the EZ Pass.

Totally incorrect. It can be used in any vehicle .

Re: credit repair As a business ??
*Insert largest facepalm emoji possible*
Who cares if it was a stupid mistake or smart mistake or complicated mistake?

You know how many services out there charge you for the dumbest easiest jobs?

Its not about how complicated it is.
Its about knowing whether or not it's complicated, and having the knowledge and experience to deal with it.

For the person on the receiving end, it's an error that's costing them money/affecting thier mortgage approval.
They don't care if it's small or big or stupid. They are willing to pay the same price to have it removed, no matter which level it falls into.

To them its all the same - it's an error that they have no way of removing on their own.

Paid him $180 friends and family paypal for hertz vouchers, never sent, ignoring my messages and emails. I am out $180 and over $300 to hertz for the rental! Don't buy anything from @hocker ! If anyone has any idea how to get a refund from paypal or any other advice, PLEASE let me know

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others
15k worth of points every six weeks = $120k a year. Some were doing this over five years. Thatís over $500k profit...
Lol. It's cost money to live. Who said he had another job? He made $120k a year, and spent 120 a year. Chances are he isn't stashing 500k.

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others
I am currently swiping for a company, in the 100-200k range.
Your article kind of hit home, thanks.
I want to either a) stop immediately or b) do my due diligence.

I am given a PO for each swipe. (meaning there is a buyer already for the merchandise before the company swipes my card by their supplier. Customers have to pay NET 30 and are all insured (in case of defaulting). So far no customers have defaulted.
What more can I do for due diligence?
Who says they aren't using the same PO for 6 different "swipers" besides for you?

Lol, you think they were going to pay sales tax on a cash transaction?
Lol. Obviously not. He's trying to avoid declaring the income, so as not to pay income tax. If he pays sales tax on it, he'll need pay income tax on it as well.

Hoping this thread would help.
Funny Q but hoping for an answer.

Re: Lakewood NJ Master Thread
Do any of these actually make sense from a consumer stand point?
It doesn't need to. When your brother in law tells you he can save you money on energy/merchant services/cosmetics, you go with what he's offering.

MLM's are built on people reaching out to family & friends. The trust is already built, and you don't need to have any unique selling proposition.

Re: Lakewood NJ Master Thread
There's a guy that advertised that he'll come to your house and grill for you, his food or yours IIRC, anyone know his name or number?
Elliot Bookman

Not sure if that's who you're referring to, but he does the service you asked about.

Re: SBA PPP and EIDL Small Business Loans (some money is forgivable)
Certainly not true. Which lender/platform? Screenshot please?
Disregard. I totally misread. It said my allotment period has passed. Or something like that. Basically my 24 weeks had come to an end.

Thanks for helping me clarify.

Re: Lakewood NJ Master Thread
Zevi had suggested I just try to Plea Bargain myself.
Gogreen responded that I need to be careful as they can change it to a moving violation

So my question was, isnt it already a moving violation, what do I have to lose? And with this idea I would not be paying any attorney fees, and I would imagine an increased fine is well worth not having my insurance rates go up?
Gogreen said "they may change it to a moving violation". I think what he meant was that they may change it to a moving violation without points, as opposed to the current ticket which is a moving violation with points.

Having them change the ticket to a "non points" is considered a plea bargain even if the new ticket is a moving violation ticket. This means you will pay a higher fine.
It also means your insurance will have just as much of an effect as it would with the orginal ticket.

So it turns out that even without lawyer fees, you're paying a higher fine for no gain.

The bottom line is, you should try really hard to get them to turn the ticket into a non moving violation.

Another thing to consider is if you already have points on your license. If yes, then even a different moving violation is worth it if means 0 additional points.

Re: Lakewood NJ Master Thread
Match their warranty? Don't think anyone does.
Have you ever taken advantage of thier warranty? It sounds great, but it isn't practical.

I have Costco tires. One of my tires has a leak. I can't plug it because it will void the warranty. Instead I need to make an appointment, then drive there and get it fixed.

I'm assuming it will take 1.5 hours total. I can get it plugged in 10 min.

The other catch is that if your tire needs to be replaced bec irreparable, they prorate the cost of the new tire based on the tread left on the old tire.

Basically, it's not as amazing as it sounds 🙂

Re: Dealer Lease buyout
I dont think they come with temporary plates, they take the plates off your existing cars and put it on new ones. Not to mention the registration of the car is transferred. So the original car will be without a registration. My concern is, if the deal with Vroom goes south, I wont even be able to move the car out of my driveway.
1) can you ask the new lease place to not deliver your car until your old car is picked up? Or they can drop it off in your driveway, and you won't transfer the registration/plates until vroom picks up the old car.

2) Where are you returning the old car to? Maybe they can come with a tow truck and pick it up. (or with thier dealer plates).

3) you can technically put the plates back on your old car and drive it to the return spot, but it's not advisable since you won't have insurance on the car.
