Would it be fair to say they get no news from the outside world?yes. The only news they get is" kol haloshon", which may be pretty good actually. im guessing they actually do a good job getting out the news (dont feel like calling in now, system makes you listen to advertising before you can get the news) Realize that most men in Williamsburg do not speak English well.Does not mean they are not business savvy, but, for the many yeshiva boys, who know very little English, the kolel members, the melamdim,all these people, who little outside exposure, do not get the real picture.From the one side they are more protected from outside secular influences, but dont get pertinent info either March 18, 2020, 04:04:24 PM |

Well... Just got a positive result from the more reliable tests, today. Thank Gd I stayed home shabbos and yom kippur and hopefully have not exposed anyone Feeling pretty good, though last night I realized I had a problem with my smell.
