My first trip there - #1 membership card - No I have no room in my wallet or my keys and what's the point I'll give you my Phone # I can't cheat - Membership is free..
#2 I was expecting more doorbuster sales not just coffee and cherry  tomatoes..
#3 thanks for the warning of must buy 2 etc..
#4 put the spices in containers or at least a cover they are bound to get sneezed on and mixed up..
#5 yes most of the items are cheaper but some by only a couple of cents..herring is over a 1.00 cheaper compared to NPGS etc. But sorry It's a trip not sure it's worth it unless I do a very large shopping...
#6 the register froze on me had to reload somewhere else and bagging is bad - hard to separate and all on your own
#7 What's the guy at the exit checking it's all in bags he cannot see anything - make him a bagger!!

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others
Nice try, but doesn't really hold water.

Listen to what you're saying "I paid for the service of being paid back?". Is that some form of Money Laundering? Cash Advance? Well, we as the bank aren't sure so we'll just file a report with the Feds.
I agree it's a strange service but that is the service I agreed to.. who cares if the service makes sense? This is the service the buyer and seller agreed to and it wasn't fulfilled..
In regard to money laundering - Who cares what it looks like - this isn't a case of money laundering..

Coolant is just a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze, it doesn't matter what type you buy. Hard to tell what's going on from that picture but it seems like you should definitely have that checked out.

Re: Unemployment Help
I sent an email today to NJ State Senator Bob Singer. Did anyone have luck through his office? Or is there another politician to contact?
Did you talk to anyone there? Someone recently told me Singers office had some contact with a person at the UI who stopped responding to them....

Re: COVID-19 (Wuhan Novel Coronavirus) Pandemic Master Thread
can't tell if your serious or joking.... At the very basic level, insist on or at least promote mask wearing. Pretty sure there's close to a medical consensus that it would help stop the spread
Look at florida Texas Arizona they all had their spikes after the mask wearing promotion of the CDC. Mask wearing does very little to contain this monster. In Israel they shut down which was able to contain the virus until they got tired of it and they opened up and it went down hill from there. What makes you think the USA would have been any different. Let's say Trump would have said how dangerous this virus is (I'm sure the Democrats wouldv'e listened) and he would have promoted a shut down - how long would've it lasted before things get opened up and it would spiral out of control? So you'll tell me there is a way to open up - but that is not what Trump or anyone would know 3 months in... You claim had Trump not downplayed the virus lives would've been definitely saved - That is incorrect - who says after 3 months of saying how dangerous the virus is anyone will be paying attention and there would not have been an opening like Israel?

Re: COVID-19 (Wuhan Novel Coronavirus) Pandemic Master Thread
There was so much we knew in February that would’ve saved lives if Trump (and every governor and mayor) did not downplay the virus.

1. We knew masks were effective. Yeh the CDC said they aren’t, but that was a political play, so the politicians are also responsible. Trump knew what every country was doing but let the CDC make up crap.

2. We didn’t order or stock any PPE, in fact in February all the PPE in the US was being bought out and shipped to China, Hong Kong. Which meant that a lockdown was all we had left to fight the spread of this unknown virus.

3. We encouraged people to socialize, said the virus was going to disappear, and that we should live life as normal until mid-March.

4. We didn’t perform any testing, allowing ourselves to be fooled by the low numbers until it was way too late.

5. Delaying the spread of corona, or flattening the curve, would’ve have saved at least 25k lives just in NY/NJ.
Let's rewind - Trump tells the American people this virus is extremely dangerous everyone must wear masks - Will people listen probably some - so we have this slow spread of a virus give it a couple of weeks and people start questioning what is this? enough with the masks! and we end up with what we had.. Another choice Trump decides let's lock down.. so we lock down for a couple of months and there's a slow virus moving around and we say ok enough let's open up and everything slowly opens and the virus comes roaring at us.. my point is had Trump given us a dire warning don't kid yourself that people would be social distancing wearing masks lockdowns for six months straight with a very low transmission rate. People are only listening and continuing to listen as they see the consequences - (we would not have seen this had people been wearing masks sd etc.) It's a Catch 22. Could you have saved 25k people if everyone would sd for 6 months then yes - but it never would've worked! Which brings me to my point "had Trump just warned the American people not necessarily would any lives been saved.... And btw the reason why people died in NY had nothing to do with the overwhelmed hospitals, there were hundreds of empty beds on the ship, field hospitals etc.- it was panic what was going to come....

Re: Lakewood covid cases
It's the combo.
It's a Combo but I'm not convinced schools /Elementary are part of this combo. Weddings and Camps clearly restarted this wave and it seems to be slowly spreading thru shuls - yeshivos (just look at specific shuls/yeshivos seems to have multiple members) the interaction that people have by weddings is mind boggling especially by people who never got the virus... Unfortunately, it now brought us to this point...

Re: Lakewood covid cases
This is a disgrace.
It's a disgrace that Murphy is looking at a completely fake metric called "positive rate" if you test everyone is one thing but to only test sick people - what does this show? That we are smart and are only testing people that actually have covid! My BIL went to chemed to get tested and they put up a big fight as he had no symptoms (going away..) so other places are testing everyone and they have a lower positive rate - Amazing! This number is a lie and is meant to create a false narrative. Let's look at cases and that's it! Cases are up - I agree but don't look at fake metrics to get the entire NJ after Lakewood.

Re: Lakewood covid cases
+1 Now is an opportunity to curb these things down once and for all.

Small reception.
Full meal for limited guests.
Dancing with buffet available for all. Come for as short or as long as you’d like.

The end.
How about stopping the hugging and kissing? There were hundreds of people that most likely got infected by weddings - maybe we can ask them what they did. Also I find music causes people to talk in your face very loudly thereby spitting... How about no loud music especially during the dinner. Asking people to make small and very different weddings is apparently too much - just a bit of social distancing may actually make a difference

Re: Re: RIP/BDE Master Thread - COVID-19 related
Expressing frustration in general at the COVID is cancelled attitude. Masks help others, not yourself, which is the epitome of what a chassid is all about.

And yet, for want of comfort we are sacrificing our elders at the altar. Hashem yeracheim.
Who decided Masks is it?? Maybe you have to do more - maybe you have to live in a cave? What about washing your hands every hour? People got completely caught up with this mask if you wear one your saving the world if you don't wear one your killing the elders! Who exactly can decide it's about the mask??

Re: Unemployment Help
Anyone have any new tips on getting through to NJ DOL?
Tried the government offices, calling right when they opened, and calling the whole day. Am I missing any ideas?
Have not been able to certify at all for the past 6 months, never mind the extra $300 per week

I like this number cause it goes direct either it says due to the high..and you huca or it says all agents are busy please hold - and your in - don't take up the offer for a call back - you loose your place in line may get a call back in a few days...
