Re: SBA PPP and EIDL Small Business Loans (some money is forgivable)
Wonder why so many DDFers are getting approved by Chase in the past 24 hours.

Also, if anyone has any direct contact info for a PPP banker at Dime, kindly share the info.

I know of a few Chase approvals as well. I'm guessing some of these were approved over the last few days, they just now got their act together and started sending out the emails.

Re: $3 trillion coronavirus relief plan!!!
Those are the ones I feel bad for.
If my two kids who are making a little bit more than working told me they weren't going to go back to work they would be kicked out of the house.
Now it makes sense. They know you well enough to tell you their itching to get back to work :)

Re: Monroe/ Kiryas Joel
Was going with the family to Monroe for vacation next week and was wondering if someone could list all the kosher eateries in the area with a little detail. Also, is there a fleishig place, or a sushi place?
Not sure what details you're looking for, but here are the basics:

-Eataly (formerly Butter Blend)
-Yossi's Pizza
-Breuer's Pizza
-Monroe Bakery
-Munch and Brunch

-Exxon Kosher

-Both Satmar butchers have deli sections

Re: JetBlue Kicks Frum Family Off Plane For 2 Year Old Not Wearing A Mask
Why? If they hold not wearing a mask is dangerous than even a 2 day old should have to wear one.
If you canít comply then donít fly
I guess you believe a 1 month old should have to wear a mask as well, right?

Re: Stocks
Can't tell you that I have a full grasp of this yet, but pay attention to what Lacy Hunt is saying. There's obviously a difference in this expert's eyes. (I think I posted a transcript of an interview with him in the Forex and Commodities thread.

Full disclosure: I'm in the deflation camp.
You did post and I listened to that podcast (and enjoyed it immensely. Thanks!) ... and then I listened to some of the other installments in that podcast series and there are some other experts which make strong arguments to the contrary (inflation).

It is definitely a complex and fascinating subject, but to my non-expert mind, it seems obvious that we're heading for inflation (perhaps not in the next year or two, but at some point in the next few years).

On a very basic level the government is creating more money and putting it in the hands of individuals while economic capacity remains the same. I get that there are currently strong deflationary forces in play, but over time more money chasing the same goods = inflation.

Re: National Parks Master Thread
Oh look, it's Cuyahoga 2.0:
Seems fitting that it's included in the stimulus bill. They're devaluing your NP list along with the currency...
