Re: Ad Campaign for spreading awareness anti credit card swiping businesses! I gotta say, I'm incredibly impressed of what was pulled off in this thread. When I saw the original post my first thought was that this is a massive waste of time, but I'm happy to be proven very wrong.

Major kudos to @chayal101 for taking the initiative, to @ruv and everyone else who helped bring this to fruition, and to the publications running it for free or at a discount. Well done, and may it bring good results.

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others
Wow... I was so involved in the other thread, and this thread kept on going totally off topic with all the 'Torah'diga aspects' discussions (all started with this denverite guy) so I completely tuned out! ... I didn't realize so many weren't following along with the ad campaign though! So now it seems that the BIG DEBATE is still 'TO DISPUTE OR NOT TO DISPUTE!' So many opposing viewpoints/opinions being shared, I don't think anyone has this figured out ... Not even the lawyer AT...

The power of the internet & WhatsApp.... this was created here next door

If any of you haven't jumped over to see what @chayal101 has achieved in this thread, it's worth taking a few minutes to do so.  He not only got ads created in English and Yiddish but has secured free ad space in numerous publications (one already running THIS week) AND even got at least one publication to stop running advertisements for credit card schemes.  A tremendous accomplishment and Kiddush Hashem and something nice to read before Shabbos!

Re: Best way to transfer money to a kid in Israel without sending cash? Ideas?
What's the best way to send money to a child in Israel? I don't want her to worry about large amounts of cash and sending with family and friends puts a burden on them.  Cash advances on credit cards are pricey.  Ditto with wire transfers.  We are looking at amounts totalling about $2000 a month.  Your advice would be appreciated.
the easiest way is to put in the money in a reb meir bal hanes pushka @ home and your son should take it out of a pushka there ;)
