"Hey Google, Ask Chabad..." I had to make a thread about this. I was hoping that someday our virtual assistants' would tell us at least what time Shabbos is. BH it seems like has been working on this for some time and finally we can get Shabbos times and other results directly from just by saying "Ok Google, Ask Chabad...". Thanks to's efforts, this initiative makes shabbos times and other things reach 400 Million devices worldwide. Kol Hakavod to them!

Examples of Chabad on your Google assistant:

“Ask Chabad when is Shabbat candle lighting”

“Ask Chabad to play today’s Torah class”

“Ask Chabad what is the Hebrew date”

“Ask Chabad when is sundown”

“Ask Chabad when is the new month”

“Ask Chabad when is Shabbat candle lighting in Los Angeles on December 28th”

P.S. I did notice my phone was picking up my 'CH's' as in 'Chabad' and 'Menachem' lately, based on the article below this was one of the things Google tuned their AI to pick up and it was in effect for some time.

Is it just me or are the modern LED headlights simply blinding? Maybe it's just me but lately when driving at night and a modern car with latest led headlights is oncoming I'm completely blinded. I'm not referring to people with their brights on I'm talking about the latest model cars that have these fancy shmancy led lights that somehow made it past all the inspections and onto the final product.

I find that it happens for oncoming traffic and also if the car behind me has them and I look in the mirror.

The older cars are fine so I don't think it's my eyes but these new ones are so dangerous imo.

Anyone else feel the same?

Impossible Burger 2.0 I still haven't tried 1.0, but 2.0 sounds pretty good:

Anyone try the 1.0 as a cheeseburger?

Re: Any day traders in the forum?
Totally agree, admitting mistakes is for me the hardest part.
And to all of us. It is always easy to say it but not so easy to be disciplined all the time. With years of trading I learned that your first loss is always your smallest loss, I use a stop loss and if it is hit I am out no matter what, can always reevaluate and renter.

Re: Any day traders in the forum? That's like saying 'don't open a grocery, because the rich people open chain stores'.

Trading is a job (gambling job according to some, but still.), While investing is not.

I know people making 3-5k daily on average from day trading.

Re: Any day traders in the forum? We can go on and on with this discussion, and it will never end, we are all aware of your position on this topic.

Can we please leave this thread on topic for those who decide they still want to do it, instead of pointless arguments?

Re: Any day traders in the forum?
I didn't mean that you were referring to this case specifically.I see.

I think @hvaces42 point is that this is a dangerous game and very easy to slip into destructive habits.
destructive habits,is the real danger, also our ego plays a part , most people will enter a trade and if it goes against them, instead of taking a small loss, the ego comes into play, they do not want to admit or believe that their judgement was wrong, so instead of taking the first small loss, they either freeze and do nothing or start adding to the losing trade by buying more at lower prices, sometimes they are lucky and the price bounces back, but all it takes is one trade where prices keep on falling and that day trade suddenly became a losing long term investment .

Re: Turkey Master Thread I was in Istanbul and Izmir a few weeks ago.  'looked' friendly and safe to me.  But you won't find a jew on the street with a kipa.  In the bus, someone mentioned the name 'erdogan', on this the tour guide said in hebrew on the microphone:'please do not mention his name, because of the nehag (driver).  Don't go to the beis hakvoiros by yourself in Istanbul, you wouldn't like to meet the men loitering around there, by night.  Bear in mind, while in Istanbul, you are surrounded by 15 millions muslim.
