In the mean time, Dan is smiling ear to ear, as this has gotten him more clicks than the WS first pitch ...
Almost all the people viewing the article are bouncing right out. Not really worth much, especially as I don't have any impression based ads.

Re: Costco Returns
if i buy a oven for Pessach (200dollar range) it will be easy to return it ?
and also a set of cookware ?

Keep in mind that your pesach oven and cookware is probably a return from someone who needed to make a Christmas dinner and also needed to do this. Chag kosher vesameach.

Re: Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem

Just redeemed a weekend night for shabbos chanuka. Travelling with wife and 2 month old baby.

1) when booking, they told me there would be a $130USD charge to add the infant. Is there some way around this? It really doesn't make sense.

2) How does shabbos morning check-out work?

Don't add the infant and you check out after shabbos.

Re: Crypto currency and using your credit card to buy it!
you sound like you know.....some analysts say it will go up to $20,000 not exactly "a little more upside"
No one knows the exact price when a bubble bursts, sure can go up much higher, this is a classic mania,  if analysts know they will not be analysts, they will be enjoying life in Monaco or the French Riviera sipping cocktails :)

Re: Prison
They allow you to play with the money? They dont want you saving it so you are able to buy food?
No there is no money available they bet weeks of commissary. And the loser has to purchase whatever the winner wants when you go to commissary. Or food that was already purchased. So you could bet cinnabuns or tuna packets.

There was a guy who was making $156 a week at his prison job and had $2500 bail which he couldnt make because he was gambling away his weekly pay.

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others Just finished reading through all this fighting and honestly don't understand everybody's issue. I think both groups pretty much have the same terms and conditions. I have bought plenty for both groups and based on my experience USA buying has exceptional customer service and MYS has generally better commissions. Its not like any of these groups are screwing people over by refusing products that go bad for them. If they suspect dumping, you can just go and request to return the item to the place you ordered from. Most times there shouldn't be a return fee but if there is maybe a buying group can offer to reimburse that fee (obviously with proper checking that they are actually buying for them) in the form of maybe higher commissions on future purchases until the return fee is reimbursed. Either way, that ensures that nobody is losing out. This whole attack that the group is screwing buyers over doesn't really make sense imo.

Re: Haters, Threats, And Trolls Based on user feedback I will lock this thread, to avoid feeding into the hand of trolls.

I appreciate all the support and feedback, this was just something that to be honest is scary to be threatened and it boggled my mind, so I wanted to see if there was something I was missing, but it seems not.

If said person would like to reply to the 2 very simple yes or no questions I presented he is welcome to, or be a real mentch and make a phone call, say who he is, and don't have double standards.

I suppose that ship has sailed as he was never actually interested in anything being accomplished or any sort of honesty with the situation. The "deals industry" has a standard, right or wrong, and it is how that person has done business since his inception, to now expect others to break that standard only when it's good for him, is of course ludicrous and borderline narcissistic if he even does really believe it to be the case.

I will leave these 2 here and @mbelsky is welcome to PM me a reply to get it posted:

1. Do you post where you get your deals from.

2. If you don't post where you get your deals from why do you think others should post when they get it from you.

Re: PSA: Don't swipe recklessly for others
Not sure if this post is meant to be sarcastic or not.... but if I understood the story correctly they never asked to borrow money from their victims.

Not sarcastic at all. They had investors, and basically they came knocking, so in order to keep the place running, they borrowed on peoples cards.

Business School should be mandatory for every single guy who wants to go into "געשעפטן", as much as Yeshivah is.

I dunno who you know. But I know many more than 10 ppl

Good for you. Maybe I'm nave, but I've seen enough.

Even with 5% margins, and I'm referring to NI margins, (Chareidim just don't seem to get the difference between Gross Margin and Net Income), and 25% Inventory stocking, and an investor for 10%, you're -19.5% cash flow before you open shop.

But people live in LaLa land.
