Re: Marriott Certs Sale
I need a 5 night certificate for end of April. Could I potentially buy one of the 7 night ones that are being offered here and check out early? And is there additional taxes or resort fees charged when we check in?

You can check out early, or just leave the hotel after the 5 nights.
Unless it is a property that charges resort fees on awards it won’t cost you anything.  I typically only use 5 or 6 of the nights.

Re: Marriott Certs Sale
You are not transferring anything, you are booking it for yourself and adding a 2nd guest who will also be able to check in.

I guess the question he is having is: lets say he shows up with his partner.  Only he is on the res and the certificate holder is on the res.  Will they let his partner join him? Or do they have to upgrade rooms?
