Jetblue Pointsmatch (potential for 75000 jetblue points)

In theory you should be able to transfer the points from SPG-Virgin (pretty good value as is) and then match

so 40001 spg = 50001 virgin and 75k jetblue with a paid flight. the RT needed doesn't seem to have a cost minimum associated with it

ETA: you need 50001 virgin so transfer 40001 SPG

He claims he used "the back of his hand," but I'm not so sure.

Re: I've Had It! The Grammar/Punctuation Hall of Shame Master Thread
I have a question.
The word "are" is used for a tangible number, such as the amount of jelly beans in a jar. "How many jelly beans are in the jar?" The word "is" is used for a non tangible number. "How much water is in the cup?"

In the example I quoted above, we know he's talking about points, a tangible number, but he doesn't mention the word points. Do I use "are" or "is"?
The question is about the value - not the points. Points are worth $1, their value is $1.

The word are is used for plural, such as, "how many jelly beans are there in the jar."
The word is used for singular, such as, "what is the cost of UR points?"

I do not believe intangibles has anything to with it. For instance:
"Derek Jeter is the greatest baseball player to have ever lived."
Wait, you are right. Intangibles is everything

Re: Jetblue Pointsmatch (potential for 75000 jetblue points) Anyone flew flight 1106 from ORD to NYC last night? There was an interesting situation when gate attendant closed boarding and locked the gate door while there were still about 20 people standing in a jetway. One person was late for the flight (I think he might be a DDFer) and started knocking the door, but gate attendant refused to open. His friends told her he has family & kids home in NY and asked her very politely to let him in. But she was rude and replyed saying "I can call the police and they will escort you to your friend if you want". Crazy. 10 min later when we finally were entering the aircraft guys complained to the Captain and he personally went out to let the guy in! 💪👍✌️✈️
