Hi I need help with routing / determining if this itn is a 'legit' RT ticket.

Want to use UA to book a flight from:

TLV - NYC
NYC - MIA
MIA - HNL
HNL - TLV

I started reading about UA award rules and it sounds like I am allow 1 stop over and a lot of OJ.

The NYC 'stop' can be less than 24 hours. So could this be a legitimate itn:

TLV - MIA (~< 24 hr connection in NYC)
stop over in HNL + open jaw from MIA to HNL (guess would have to purchase this leg?)
then HNL - TLV

Any help much appreciated!!!! TIA  ;D

I don't think so.. I waited a full two weeks after my statement posted until the miles posted.
A little more than a week went by and mine posted. Me and SO paid the AF + charge on same day... His still hasn't posted :( it's been almost 2 weeks ...

Let me just understand this... Do people fly JFK-HKG-TLV as a thing? Why would you fly such a roundabout way unless you're Ferdinand Magellan? Please enlighten me.
Not all of us live in the US. And for those of us who live in Israel this is a fantastic way to get to Asia..  which I do pretty much every chance I get. At only 40k AA OW in J, this is a steal! From HKG I can easily connect to most places in asia on many OW carriers.

I know this isn't the perfect thread, but hopefully close enough. I have 50k and SO has over 60k of LH M&M. the the years is coming up at the end of this year. We live in Israel. Looked at flying in J RT to places in europe, even morroco. The YQ came out to be 300$!!! So insane. Any ideas for using the miles without dropping serious YQ?

Well..  I escalated and I HUCA'd. Sort of gave up and took a similar flight next day with a 45 min connection. Keeping my fingers crossed something else opens up for a day or two earlier, and then will leave as planned.. fingers crossed for the new Cathay Pacific route to open up spaces for my dates,!!!

Need to go to HNL from IL for work in a couple months. They only pay for econ or econ plus. I did a bit of digging and realize that flight class really matters for the upgrade. I was looking at united, just cuz flights seem reasonable to there. Anyway, my understanding is it will be an extra 70k miles .. and this is if the ticket is a specefic booking class.. others have told me that they always purchase a fully refundable/flexible ticket rate, so my understanding is that I should be able to upgrade the ticket without adding money.

My question is how can I check for. Availablility? Is it just the standard availablility for J - or something else? There's no availability anymore, and since plan B clearly not an option.. any other ideas? TIA!!!

since its their issue you should be able to fight them to give it to you
I said something to that effect and she goes "it's out of our hands, RJ releases the award tickets to us"

13
They can certainly "schedule change" you onto the later connection.

that i'm OK and fine with.. question is whether they can cancel the whole thing all together... leaving us kinda without an alternative.. a later alternative is less desirable but if thats their only legal option then i'm OK with it...

14
Anyone know if AA can legally cancel our ticketed flights?

15
Hmm.. Flight times showing on GF not showing on RJ site.
+1 exactly.... That's why the ticket was even issued in the first place ...
