Interesting as it says full refund without mentioning it seems anything about TB
Yeah theyíre not super forthcoming about it.
If they change the flight and you cancel, you can get money back to cc if you call or tweet them. If you cancel without flight changes, it goes to travel bank.

You have to cancel and rebook. Iíve had the best luck by chatting with them from my iPhone - they have a special messaging setup from iOS, and the reps are generally pretty good.

however they are finally matching the other airlines by allowing free changes
if you find a cheaper ticket the credit goes back to your wallet to be used within 1 year
blue basic does not have free changes ( they have changes for a fee but i have not seen what the fee is in the press release )
According to DoC itís $100 domestic and Mexico/Caribbean and $200 other routes. Not cheap at all.

The compensation for overhead bins is nice, but really crappy of them to hide taking away free carryon from basic fare when all the other airlines are adding it back.
Theyíre really on a mission to make it feel like Spirit.
The only thing they canít easily change is their nice seat pitch - which is why I keep flying with them. But Iím sure thatís next.

Oh, I see Dan already posted this yesterday.
Sorry, late to the party :)

As title says, download Hyatt app and do Headspace meditation exercise on 12/9 and get 500 points.
Hyatt promo here:

It doesn't look like you have to subscribe to the Headspace service for this promo.

Nah. Especially with it basing points fare on Blue fares and not blue basic, I find it makes less and less sense to use B6 points.
During pandemic with free changes anyway that makes sense. Other times blue fares are more flexible. But agreed - vs. blue basic it lowers the value.

I'm not getting something. Where does it say that you will get a point for each penny?  I don't see any price per point?
They round up the purchase to the dollar amount and give you one point per penny. Itís there on the rewards portal site.

I think buying b6 points at 1cpp is not bad. Theyíre generally worth 1.2-1.7cpp depending on route/redemption.

Got an interesting offer on the Jetblue Plus card.
'Pennies for Points' - round up every purchase and turn the rounded up amount into points at 1c = 1point.

We invite you to participate in a new pilot program with your JetBlue Plus Card. It lets you round up to the nearest dollar and turn the spare change into TrueBlue points up to the threshold youíve set. Get on board between July 31, 2020 and October 31, 2020 to start turning your round-ups into wheels-up, faster than ever.

Seems like a purchase of $1.01 rounded up to $2, would get 100 points. (1 base point + 99 cents round up points)
If this is correct, this is quite an opportunity to effectively buy points at 1cpp - the max threshold they allow is $500 in rounded up charges per statement, so that would equal 50,000 points!
Wonder how closely the look at accounts that accumulate tons of small charges.

Intuit doesn't own Quicken anymore, they sold it off and some people online were saying that that's when Mint started going downhill.

It may be worth a try. The UI seems very clean and slick and their CS is awesome (i've been in touch with them about a few different things). They even reached out to schedule a private zoom meeting with me (and other new customers I guess :) ) to ask what I thought and if anything was missing, I requested a few features and most of them were added within a month or so.

Huh. Well thatís definitely better than Mintís nonexistent support. Might be worth a shot, thanks for the tip!

It's been getting steadily worse. I've been checking out (by quicken) and will hopefully switch over. It's not free but for $40/year it's worth something that works and has good customer support.

Also by intuit.
If they canít get their act together in mint, why would that one be any better?

Once a week I go through all my transactions to ensure they're labeled properly. Many times I need to make adjustments.

I'm also having a different issue, for some reason some charges from my Amex account come up twice in mint. I'm not sure how to fix this.

I noticed that it does that when there are cars where I synced mine and wifeís account. Since it picks up the same card from two accounts, it double counts all transactions. Really annoying. I did figure out that I can select all transactions from one of the account copies and mark them all duplicate. Not automatically though. Have to periodically do the search.

Officially, to use the free checked baggage you must pay with the Explorer card. When you book through Chase travel, you will get charged from Chase Travel and they will use their own corporate card to pay United, so you will not get free checked baggage. You may be able to get the fee waived at check-in if you show them the card and explain the situation, but don't count on it.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid if. They're really been devaluing their card and program, and now on tickets that I want to get they're charging 2x for regular economy vs. basic.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but couldnít find the answer. If I have the explorer card, do I get free bags if I book with chase UR points for part of the ticket and part with the card?

At least we got several nice promos while they were trying to push it.
Noone used it without those promos - Apple pay and samsung pay have a much larger footprint.
I never understood why they couldn't just get behind one of those and why they had to try to roll their own. Banks are not sw companies, they shouldn't try to compete with them.

Can I book direct from NY to TLV using AA points?

Aa does not partner with anyone who has a direct nyc to tlv flight.

Have a mint flight on JetBlue, lax-bos. Tried to request ksml, was told that canít pre-order it just ask onboard. Is that true? Do they stock ksml for every mint flight?
