In the circular. It comes in the mail.
Next week's circular didn't arrive yet. So there must be some other way to find out upcoming promotions.

no email. no promo tab. no spambox. just loading not working.
Try loading online. If you get this message, it's game over: "We’re sorry - due to unusual usage patterns on your account, loading funds to your account has been disabled."

I looked at new Serve cards for initial purchase today.  RA had the Greenies.

The supermarket had Blues.  But in 2 flavors.  One type of package looked much older.  It was blue, with a yellow or gold top on the box.  I cannot even find images of this packaging online in a Google image search. It was not the 1% cashback version.  The other package was blue with silver.  From the T&C's on the package, one had $2 out of network ATM fees, the other was $2.50.

Is there any benefit to the older versions?
Why don't you buy an old one and let us know what happens. If you live in NY green one has no fees.

Sorry, I just don't understand your question.

One cannot load more than one Serve card in a single transaction, but you can load more than one GC onto Serve in a single transaction, split tender.
How do you know that you can't load more than one serve in 1 transaction. Did you try it?

added it to the wiki
while that post definitely has a lot of info, the list of included cards are far from comprehensive. Most of the cards listed have one thing in common.

At WM, FD and now at RA, I have loaded more than one Serve card. No assumption.

I have done split transactions at WM, but I prefer $500 at a time.

I'm a lightweight. I only have 4 Serve cards. Usually by the 5th day of each month, each is loaded with $5k.
I didn't question whether you could load more than 1 card. My question pertained to this:
You can load different Serve cards, same day, same time, same location, same cashier, but they are different transactions...separate swipes.
so I repeat
Are you 100% sure about that? Have you found a competent cashier who couldn't do it -- ie, load more than 1 serve card in a single transaction? Or this is merely an assumption on your part since you can't load 1k on a single card in 1 transaction?

Using serve I load from a CC from my comp (no travel time). Log in once and set up a recurring payment so dont have to login again unless I need to switch the CC. To "liquidate" I just pay my mortgage which is most of the funds. All told literally takes 5 mins a month.

Other ppl send the money to their bank or to pay off CC.
3k of MS doesn't go very far. And you can load only 1k or 1.5k with cc. I imagine you have 2 soft serve, otherwise you can't switch cc's unless you have more than 1 3rd party Amex or are trying to meet min spend on Amex issued card?

You guys are ridic. I takes me 1 min to load $3k a month. Tell me something easier (there might be something else equally easy but not easier).
You timed it? 6 loads in a minute. And you forgot about travel time. And time it took to buy GCs so you can load at RA. (I hope you aren't buying them at RA and then tearing them open to load them right there.) And you still need to liquidate. While fairly easy it still takes some time.

I didn't say that either. But why don't you try it and let us know.

Over $2500 in one day on one Serve card?
I never said it was on 1 card. What I was trying to bring out is that RA has a 3k limit and it is possible to load 3k. When someone posted the 3k limit, it was mentioned in response that serve will stop you after 2.5k, implying that you can't load more than that. My point is the 2.5k limit on one card does not disprove that RA has a 3k limit. Like cvs, the limit applies to GC and loads and is across all stores. Unlike cvs, it isn't hard coded. The only thing that is hard coded is doing more than 3k, including fees, in a single transaction. But... just because it isn't hard coded and they don't record or swipe your ID doesn't mean they can't tell if you are going over the limit. if you try to do 3k in a few stores daily, there's a good chance you will be banned.

I swiped first and then the list showed up on the keypad so I hit serve free reloads.
A. Why am I being charged the $3.95 fee?
B. Why isn't it working?
Which card do you have?
