Was the AA flight delayed, or BA?

AA flight was delayed because of crew shortage.  Original ticket was booked through BA.  New flight to LHR is on BA (18 hours later).

Unfortunately hes isn't entitled to mandatory compensation, but he can go to AA for something, although they are usually stingy, they should be a little more generous here.

They have told him "since you switched out of the AA system to be rebooked on BA, we no longer have any record of the flight." Sounds like a load of garbage to me.

My brother in law just got delayed from ORD to LHR on the way to TLV.  18 hour delay.  Original ticket was purchased through BA, but operated by AA.  Any tips how much and how to get compensation from AA or BA?

Thanks in advance!

Did you factor tolls?

All part of the same question.  Do they all count towards the $350 or do they show up separately?

I'm looking to rent from Silvercar twice, but both rentals are less than $350 combined.  Does anyone have experience using their gas refill service?  Does it get charged like the regular car rental, and ostensibly towards the $350?

See Dan's post. Usually a call within 24 hours to the right rep can help.

What do you mean with "maneuver"?

I meant "move around the seat in a pinch".  Most of the time, my car seats block any passage between the window and aisle.  Probably because I am using rear-facing.

I bought this and sold it to a neighbor.  It's really a very average chair.  Nothing special IMO.  I'm 5"7, and I found it too tall and too wide.  For a larger person who is tall, I would think it's perfect.

@username

Does this mean that Delta will allow me to chose my seat with my infant or stick me to the back because I have basic economy?

I used middle seat on wide body jets

There was enough room to "maneuver" around the kid seat?

Any pointers?  Delta is the only normal airline with direct service from CVG to PHX.  I don't think I ever heard of any good chaps how to save on domestic.  Care to share?  PM?

Has anyone tried travelling with an infant in basic economy on Delta? I plan to purchase a seat for my daughter, but I understand seat assignments are not available even for cardholders.

Side note, does Delta require car seats to be in the window?

One way/Round trip: OW
Non-stop/Maximum stops/Any: max 1
From: SYD
To: PHX
Departure dates: Apr 2/3/4

Class: Business or better
Seats: 2
Alliance/Airline: no preference

Delta: 175k
AA: 175k
United: 175k

Can anyone recommend a better price for these tickets?  I'm having a heck of a time trying figure out a cheaper option.

Thanks!
