Citi is the only option for that.
Happy travels!

Copy that. Thank you.

You can apply for the Amex SPG card and get a bunch SPG points which transfers to AA 20:25.

Already got that and use it, but I am concerned about the huge amount of baggage fees I am paying (I always check a bag due to the nature and length of my stay). I understand that with a AA-branded CC I may be able to avoid such fees. I am looking for solicitations as to which card is the best (if Citi is not the only option).

I fly AA about 12-15 times a year. What is the best credit card in order to get the various benefits with them (baggage, miles, etc). Is the CitiBank card the only option or are there others?

Right, and can it or any other Costco card be purchased and then somehow redeemed and still getting the rebate?

Credit Cards / Costco Cash Card?
« on: June 16, 2013, 04:05:02 PM »
I have a Costco Exec Membership and the Costco Business Amex, so I get a maximum rebate. The max rebate every year is $750 or thereabouts. My question is thus: do I get the rebate when purchasing a Costco Cash Card http://www.costco.com/Costco-Cash-Card.product.10024438.html and then is it possible to cash out those cards using Amazon Payment or other service with no to minimal service fee?

Credit Cards / Visa + Citgo = rewards
« on: June 19, 2012, 06:26:12 PM »
I see that Citgo is offering a rewards program for every $20+ you spend there. You are able to link multiple Visa branded CCs to this. Here's the link: http://www.citgogoodrewards.com/

I also got a notice from my Chase Freedom Visa card that the new quarterly bonuses include gas. I linked my Freedom to Citgo for maximum bonuses. My gas tank is pretty empty now so I'll get exactly $20.00 in gas every day on the way home, racking up both Citgo bonuses and Freedom points. Excellent!

Ill ask the if they will cover that. They might balk at the cost. Can you suggest an excellent quality one that costs less? I see that the one on the mainpage of dansdeals has a lot of bad reviews. Want to avoid that, if possible.

My losses are probably over $500, which is my deductible, so they might cover any reasonable replacement.

Tech Talk / Need GPS, please suggest

Dan & everyone-

My car was broken into last night and my radio and GPS were stolen. It's time to replace the GPS. Without the GPS I am completely lost. (I can either navigate or drive, not both at the same time.)

Insurance is helping pay for the new GPS, so please suggest one of very high quality.

Dan, Delta says that a 1st Class/Business round trip would be 230,000 miles each way, 145,000 for economy.

I am far, far short for such a flight as it currently sits. Any ideas on how to raise an obscene number of miles in such a short period of time?

Check for availability on AF/KLM Flying Blue.

Who should I transfer my miles into? Delta? They are part of the same alliance?

No AMEX MR points?

No. I have two Amex Starwoods cards (personal and business). No MR points. Since I got the cards I have a nasty on my credit reports that probably prevents me from getting another card.

Up In The Air / Israel in August on cash & points?
« on: March 28, 2011, 08:40:35 PM »
Dan and others,
I have $450 to work with in order to get myself to Israel in August. I have about 40,000 Starwoods points and the following in airlines:
AA- 12,300
Delta- 16,800
United-21,300

Do you know of any cash/point deals for any of those three? I can transfer the 40,000 points into them at any point. Please advise as soon as you conveniently can.
