Can whirlpool jetboat be done with a 2 year old?

I think minimum height is 40 inches.

Corning museum + the glass factory in the back can take close to a full day.
I went once a nice few years ago & enjoyed it. Would go back if it was closer to NYC.

Watkins glen state park is not far from there.

for some people the NY state fair in Syracuse might be interesting (end of August). IMO nothing, but small children might enjoy the farm animals.

Rochester also has a photography museum.

I would add Letchworth State Park to the list.

Memory's a bit fuzzy, it's been a few years. As I recall, it's beautiful and serene. There's boating on the lake, a little beach on the lake. Bilgers Rocks, horseback riding, farm with petting, mini golf, fishing. Google the area; it's called "The Wilds". Perfect if you want low key relaxation, not excitement. Very secluded area, not at all like the Poconos (also a lot further from NY/NJ)...

Would you call it unusually scenic? Or just a nice lake area?

Yes. What would you like to know?

Is it a nice place to spend a few days? What is there to do in the area?

Thanks!

ok so as I told you before all things being equal the w on lex is the nicest out of the 4 you chose. you have to look at the price though.

I stayed at the W on Lexington and would not recommend. I stayed in a studio suite. The rooms had an old feel to them, the decor was low-end and cheapy. The bathroom was tiny and bare. It almost felt like a dormitory. The only plus side was that it was very clean and I am usually very picky with the cleanliness in hotels.

The lobby is nice and there is a nice lounge there as well.

yes I saw your question. and answered you that out of those 4 w on lexington is the best. but it depends on the cash rate, depends what area you want to be near and how many people you are traveling with etc.

Sorry about the misunderstanding...I missed the boat ::)

Either way, back to the matter at hand I am basically looking for a nice modern style hotel in the range of those 4. I prefer SPG and thought those 4 were the most decent for my budget. It doesn't matter where in the city it is located and its for two people.
 Any suggestions?
