Ok im actually having a hard time finding a list out there of points hotels with private pools- the object of this thread is to compile a list of hotels worldwide that 1) you can book directly into a pool room and the cost 2) a hotel with a base room that has the option to upgrade.

So food situation is as follows... on the islands in greece they dont really know what or who jews are forget about kashrus and special diets so i had to explain the front desk what i want and they said sure np! But the guy that took the meal to warm up decided to present it as a reg room service meal so he opened it up and set it up nicely so after explaining to him that he shouldn't open it they brought it to us the way we wanted!
I usually just bring pom meals or similar and have the hotel heat it up.
Great pic of the sous vie!!

Friday night and Shabbat shul options for Cape Town? Staying at the Sea Point. I saw there was a fire at Morasha recently, anyone know if it impacted operations? Any shul has a small kiddush during the day?

The way the food is being hyped here, even this weirdo is looking forward to it  ;D.

Yup. We've decided to go that route.
Option 2 is definitely the way to go, Nonstop and day flight plus saving money.

The 2 dairy places are great baghetto and yotvata and the debate goes on as to which is better with the most leaning towards baghetto.

For meat you have 2 options (if you only want glatt) bellecarne and little Tripoli.
Bellacarne has a separate glatt menu and kitchen and we were quite happy with the food- close to NY style for meat restaurant. Little Tripoli is quite unique, as it is libiyan food and it is quite far out if you are basing yourself by the Jewish Ghetto although they are exclusively glatt.

I can't give you first hand knowledge on Alice  or the gellatos, although the reports are amazing.

One can definitely do 2 out of 3 activities in 1 day, pushing hard you can DEFINITELY  do all 3, just be aware that it's in the winter and it's a short day.

We did a Jewish Ghetto tour, collusium, trevi, Roman forum, Spanish steps, shopping and baghetto milky by 3-4pm and then rested and ate out by little Tripoli.

I am going to Rome in mid-February. Which places in the Vatican can I not go to i.e places which still have services in them?
Ask your lor. A lot of rabbanim don't allow any entrance into the Vatican as the pope still gives mass threre on a weekly basis.
