Does anyone have this card?
How does this compare to the Citi Double Cash Back card?

by motion sense do you mean the feature that lights up when you walk by the thermostat?
No, that is simple to turn off and i dont need that on at all.
The home and away function which uses the motion sensor to detect if you are away.

Has anyone figured out how to turn off the motion sensing and auto away from the nest thermostat or something similar for shabbos via IFTT or Tasker?

I have one that I'm planning to install just wondering if I have to turn these features off every shabbos or there is some way that I can automate it.

On The Road / SPG Hotel Availability
« on: April 19, 2018, 11:33:16 AM »
Hi,

I did not see a thread regarding this but if there is one please feel free to move it.

I am a platinum SPG member and I have a reservation in a hotel for 2 nights but they are claiming that they have absolutely no availability for the last night that I want to stay there.
Is there any way that I can push them to work out a room for me? I tried calling a few times and all they said was that they are completely booked.
I really want to get that last night since its a hassle to check out and go to a different one.

If anyone has any ideas or tricks please help me out.

TIA!

What do they mean by this ?

“when you agree to participate for two year. Enroll with an approved service provider when their enrollment period opens.”

I spoke to a rep and what she basically told me was, that once you own the thermostat and you have already received that $85 rebate there is nothing that they can do if you leave the program and just keep the thermostat.

I am not 100% sure about it but it does make sense.

https://www.coned.com/en/save-money/rebates-incentives-tax-credits/rebates-incentives-tax-credits-for-residential-customers/bring-your-thermostat-and-get-$85

“When you enroll, you allow Con Edison to make brief, limited adjustments to your central air-conditioner setting during the summer to reduce demand on our electric grid. You are always in control and can override the settings at any time.”
I believe that once you enroll and receive the rebate you can unenroll

Tech Talk / Re: Security Camera System

I'm looking to install cameras in my home and I would like some advice.

Should I install standard wired cameras with a DVR or should I go with a wifi camera?

If I should go with a wifi camera, which one is a better option, the Nest, Arlo, or something else?

TIA!

If there was a modern phone with webOS (and there were apps for it) I'd probably switch.
Why would any developer start working on apps for webOS if Android and ios are so far ahead?
Besides, Android and ios are using some of the gesture controls that webOS had and its far superior to webOS at this point
