Credit Cards And Finance / Re: Staples Gift Card Problem
« on: January 14, 2021, 10:14:29 PM »
What type of Gift Cards? In what way is it not working? What are you trying to do?
If it's Visa GC, you might need to register it first ( depending on how you are using them.

K is a revenue fare class, not an award ticket.
Right. I booked it through the CSR Ultimate Rewards portal. I forgot :( . Low chance of getting the upgrade, right? Any idea?

Aha. Thanks.
So what is the difference between "Upgrade Requested" and "Waitlisted"?

I called United to upgrade my round-trip flight from an Economy Award reservation to Business Polaris using points and copay. They took the points and charged the copay. How can I tell if I did a successful Plan B upgrade? (The sample screenshots I found were out-dated.)
Also, the departing flight shows "Upgrade requested" and show a fare class of "United Econonmy (K)" but the return shows "Waitlisted" and class "United Polaris (PZ)". I am so confused. What does this mean and why the difference?
Any help is appreciated.

very informative!
Thanks. More links in the wiki.

Right. It must've been because I double booked not sure which flight to take. I didn't realize they automatically cancel if two tickets for the same name are on the same flight.
Thanks for your replies.

Just got an email from Chase UR Travel that my flights were cancelled. Anyone else? Any recourse?

Looking to rent a house/villa for 4 adults walk-able to a minyan for Shavuos. I checked the Chabad area on airbnb etc. but all I found were condos and apartments. Does anyone know a villa community that will have people for minyanim, or a place that might have vilas to rent that would be in walking distance to a shul? Any other ideas?
I would very much appreciate any help. I've never been there and we need to get away.

I am bringing a challah knife as a gift and I'm wondering about security on the JM - TLV train. On the flight I can simply pack it in my checked luggage but does anyone know what type of security check there is on the train? Would I be able to bring it along in my bag?

Is there a link to this on I don't find it under "credit cards" on the top left.

This was a targeted offer earlier and I didn't get it. It looks like it's now available to all.

I can't get anything less than 5 hours long?
I am thinking of opening two laptops and running two courses at the same time - for me and wife. Might as well maximize the time spent. ::)
