Just Shmooze / Re: Jewish Music (New CDs, hock, and opinions)

The new 8th dayalbum is available on Google play though it doesn't seem to be available in stores yet. I didn't see it advertised anywhere and only found out about it from Google alerts.

In 2003 I went to CGI Montreal (a lubavitch overnight camp in Quebec) and there was this new soda called sprite remix (not tropical) it tasted like toothpaste and unsurprisingly was a major flop, any montrealers here remember it?

I know where all the cameras on my way to work and where most of them are on the way to other places that I go to regularly. If I'm taking a route that I don't usually take I'll use waze just to know where the cameras are. Ever since I got a camera speeding ticket I started doing this and b"h I haven't received any more since.  Those mobile speeding cameras on top of cars i don't worry about, my cheshbon is that for the 1 or 2 times a year that I might get a ticket it's still worth it considering all the time that I end up saving.

Just Shmooze / Re: Amazon Private label.... will it be Kosher?

It will probably be on an item by item basis like any other store brand.
+1 their stuff is probably going to come from the same places that most store brands come from so by default it'll be kosher anyways so it shouldn't be hard to get an ou on it.

When my Gameboy color couldn't be played in the dark and had to keep on switching the AA batteries.

When my palm pilot would delete everything if the battery got fully drained.

When 128 MB SD cards were standard and the 1gb card was over $120.

Why are Jewish websites the most annoying websites on earth? They assault the eyes with flashing ads, etc. Didn't everyone else stop doing that stuff circa 1998? it is so annoying...
Personally it doesn't bother me so much but I know people that use ad blockers for that reason.

Was at Tiberius tonight in midtown. Service was good and chairs were comfortable. Food itself was nowhere in the league of Basil though, could use lots of improvement. And their prices are very high.

Looking for a short term worker for a supermarket in Williamsburg for 2-3 weeks for pesach season (good for a bachur bain hazmanim). A plus if the same person is also available for 1-2 weeks before Purim. Pm me.

Beer mayim and mayim chaim use different kinds of gas. Beer mayim is strong fizz when you open it but goes flat fast, Mayim Chaim has weaker fizz but lasts allot longer.

So everything just sits there ready waiting to be ordered?
Yes, if it didn't you'd have to wait a couple of hours for your order to be ready.

Level 6 paying cash and a second later somebody walks out and then the turnstile won't go so I look like a thief asking the next guy to slip in with him.

I swap batteries around three a day. They are all quite old batteries so they die faster than average
Same here. Don't understand why so many people don't swap batteries. Before i started I couldn't get through a day without plugging in my phone in middle.

Could I ask u what battery charger I use? And for long do far?
I take it that you're using Swype :) I have a LG g3 and got a battery charger on amazon 6 months ago and just bought another one because sometimes it randomly doesn't charge. It was around $20 with 2 batteries. I couldn't find a charger made by LG so I got a off brand (trendon), all the off brands fit the g3 that I saw on amazon are all the exact same thing just with different logos. Thing is it takes like 5 hours for the battery to charge so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a second phone of the same model for cheap maybe with a broken screen or something and it'll charge much faster.
