I got this email. Havenít done the deal so canít vouch for it, but wanted to pass it along.

its $5 off a few specific items.only good if you want those items
Youíre right.  I see that now.  Sorry for the unnecessary enthusiasm.

Discovered this serendipitously. Scanned three UPC codes and then got this.

Not sure what it means that you can get 6 of them.

Weird that only 1000 points posted, that same packaging posted zero points for me Friday.
Something funky this week.  At least no reports of manager denying manual add.

all 3 the same packaging?
Yes.  I think it is the ďKevlarĒ version. Black and white.

Deals/Deal Requests / Gift Card and gas Promo at Stop & Shop or Giant

Data point.

I went to my local Stop & Shop, purchased three $500 vGC, and received 1000 points. No idea why. Manager was also baffled, but happily added the 2000 additional points after reviewing the advertisement. Points showed up almost immediately in my fuel rewards.

Reminder :)
As if any of us needed reminding.  ;)

Deals/Deal Requests / Re: Free Sprint Unlimited plan (for 1 year)

I don't think if you close a prepaid monthly plan after a day or 2 you will get any refund. I believe people do tmobile and get a daily plan.
Each and every line has to be a port In from a different carrier. So u can't just take from old sprint account to new one.
The SD thread has a lot of good info in wiki
Thank you.   I will read up over there, as well.

So port out to non sprint mvno and then come back with a new name and social security
Sorry to ask for spoonfeeding, but I would appreciate the help. :)
I have five lines on my Sprint Free BYOD from last June/July.
Following your advice, I want to port out one of the lines to a MVNO, say Boost or Cricket or whatever.
--Can I port the line, sign up for service, and cancel same day/next day? Will I pay for just 1/31 of the monthly cost?
--After I then come back and sign up for the Sprint Free plan with a new name and SSN, do I need to port out to non sprint MVNO for all of the other lines, or will I be able to switch them from the current free plan to the new free plan?

Thanks in advance.

Trip Reports / Re: Sam 28 Cancun TR FEB 2017

We were in Cancun February 17-26, 2017. It's all kind of a blur now, but we must have been at Chabad same Shabbat you were there! We were staying in the Lagunamar, and I think we just davened and ate Friday night at Chabad.

My cheshbon:

I booked 10 ow SDR-MAD, typically one per week in the spring time.

Did this same pattern for each of 5 individuals: myself and DW (old accounts) each of our 3 children (new accounts).

BH, DW and I had our points posted and they remain. In fact, I had a previously booked award flight that would conflict with one of these SDR-MAD flights, but BH that didnít seem to bother anyone.

Our three childrenís accounts got bupkus. One got the request for ID. One I canít remember.  One got ďyou opened new account and had an old account, so we canceled the new one, and BTW you wonít get Avios.Ē  That was my oops ó didnít remember that DD had a prior account  and had her make a new one.

Iím waiting to get past the 330 days to book for me and DW (and hoping there is no clawback before that day arrives).  I suspect that none of the kids will get their Avios, so I will try to get their flights refunded.

@PBaruch, Outstanding TR! Thank you for all the amazing photos and just the right amount of narrative.

Maybe I missed it, but can you say whether you brought all the food with you? You must have brought all the meat and marshmallows etc. from home?

And, how about all the camping gear? Did you rent it?  How could you carry a tent and sleeping bags etc. on the plane with you?

You are most welcome! Iím gonna try to work on adding to my TR next week and add details of the four restaurants right around the Sortis for you.

Save a day to go to Islas Las Perlas (an archipelago of about 100 islands only 30 miles from the city).  We enjoyed it way more than San Blas and it cost less.  We took the ferry there and then booked a 3 hr tour from Contadora that took us Whale watching (they found whales super fast and got us really close)! Then she took us to our own stunning private beach where my kids had a blast snorkeling, on an uninhabited island, and then we dropped a line in the water on the way back to the main island and my boys caught a HUGE Mahi-Mahi fish (the boatman had to finally spear it to bring it in the boat)!! We gave it to our guide and they had some great eating while we had a magical day. My kids said they wanted to come back and stay overnight so Iíd love to do that another time.

We used the following tour company and Ilene was really awesome. Her husband Terry also leads tours.  They charge a flat rate for up to 8 people so if you are a bigger group/family it could be an amazing deal. She also got us discounted ferry tickets, which went a good way toward paying for her private tour.

@Denverite Thank you!

I'm afraid to edit the wiki for fear of messing up the formatting.

Palo Alto. Sheraton and Westin.  Both within eruv.  The Sheraton has a side door and rear door that are non-electric.  I don't recall about the lights but pretty sure they were not motion-triggered.   Chabad is about 2 miles. The Hillel is closer.
