I davka have a half size rollerboard which fits on all planes, yet sometimes an obnoxious gate agent will insist it doesn't fit even though I know it does.

Not the case here....

And sometimes there just isn't space on the aircraft physically, even if you were first to board.

Not the case here, i am platinum so I board early and flight was half empty.

She did not let me take it down the ramp, I would have brought it straight on. AA on twitter is not helping. This is so weird

Compensation...

What's the best way to go about that? I definitely deserve compensation for this one- it was totally ridiculous, the gate agents should be fired!

I tweeted AA and they said they will look into it but I don't know how serious they will take me because I only have 6 followers :)

Currently on a flight from LGA to MSP. I have no idea why but the agent had it out for me. They told me my bag did not fit when it clearly did. I was forced to gate check it. I have platinum status and was one of the first few to board so not having overhead space could not have been the issue. It is also an empty flight.

The bag clearly fitted. American Airlines.....

Had the same issue. I made two separate orders of one set. One order they charged 7.59 and the other $34.67. Both orders had email confirmations of $7.59.

Called (888) 280-4331, got through to an American right away and she applied a $24.99 credit to my account

Not sure if this is the right thread, if it is not apologies.

I am going to be using some national free days next week and I want to make sure I am covered by CC insurance. I read that you can make a normal reservation and apply coupon after the reservation is complete.

Is this done online right after rental is complete?

Bump.

Not sure how you would find one, somebody knew somebody- I guess ask around.

I think we are paying $15 per hour but it could be less, I didn't arrange it.

I parked in The Shul parking lots went there. Tell her to leave a Chitas or sidur on the dash board to be safe ;)

I take no responsibility if she gets towed.

Any good rates at the grand beach? Assuming you are talking about the Surfside grand beach...

Lol, that's a cute idea, but i don't think I'd be comfortable having someone else's car there (She'd probably not be comfortable as well) Thanks though.

Yes, it's the Surfside beach property. I'm paying $270 per night including tax (not including resort fee) for 5 nights. Don't know if that is considered a good rate....

I plan on staying at the Grand Beach for a week and I am not renting a car because I find Uber to be cheaper and more convenient. I am having a babysitter come to my hotel room at night to watch the kids. She will only be there for 2-3 hours total per night. Any suggestions where she can park? I do not want to pay the exorbitant hotel parking fee.
