I am looking at it like going to the grocery and tasting the grapes to see if they're fresh if they're fresh I'll take it, if it's not fresh I'm not going to take the bunch.

You do that with grapes?

my driver drove up to the holland tunnel on NJ side with a vehicle not allowed in (has a small propane tank), the cop stopped him and ordered him to turn around, along with 3 tickets for obstructing traffic, reckless driving and 1 other thing (cant remember).

can I put eruv tavshilin into the fridge or does it have to be "displayed"?
It must be edible on the second day, so you better put it in fridge

« on: April 15, 2019, 12:23:19 AM »
Some have the Minhag of tipping the Rabbi for this service and it's an opportunity to tip for all he does the whole year round....

An the Halachic side, I once heard that the reason we pay the Rabbi to sell the Chometz is because a "Shaliach" only has a Chazakah to carry out the "Shluchis" while a "Poel" can we more so rely on to carry out what he was paid to do....
+1000 on the tip aspect.
Halachically, חזקת שליח עושה שליחותו can be problematic when dealing with a דאורייתא. when he's paid for it he's more "obligated" to do it, so he has more trust

- IIRC, Chabad, and some other groups, have a boiled pasteurization chumra - i.e. 212 cheese - how does that labeled? חלב רותחת? :)
Look on the packaging of "natural & kosher" cheese

Why does cholov yisroel milk need to be kosher l'pesach?
The processing area should be free af ANY contaminants all year round. There's nothing that is getting into the milk the whole year- no pigs milk, no meat of any sort - so what's different in the way it's watched lekivid pesach?  If we're worried about what the cow ate. Have any of your seen breast milk? Do you really think a grain that the mama ate is going to make it's way into the milk?

And by the same token, meat departments.  Aren't they supervising the whole year that no milk or ham sandwich leaves drips on the meat or anywhere in the area?  Why do we need it "kosher l'pesach"?
It becomes kosher lpesach because they can charge extra $$$

Much easier dealing with someone else's.

For this reason, there are plenty letters from the Rebbe to parents, that they should get outsiders to help

Thanks! I had no idea.

So why is it that people with celiac dont just have oat flour challah instead of being yotsei with someone else?
They dont want to suffer on shabbos?
