The name should show up on the email (sometimes not the first one, but the second one they send out later). Shouldn't be an issue checking in as far as I know.Thank you!

I'm looking to sell 2 certs to someone to use at Residence Inn Surfside. Can anyone tell me the best way to do it? It looks like booking with points, waiting for check in and then emailing to change to cert has worked. When you do it this way is the reservation in the buyers name or they're still a guest?
Does calling Marriott corporate to make the reservation and adding the name at the beginning work for a cert? any potential issues with that? trying to figure out the safest way to do this
Also has anyone actually been denied check in? what did you do?
