"Each room rate has an "allowable discount," so you may not be able to use the full amount of your voucher on some rooms."

From what I read online it looks like the allowable discount is like $20 per night

No need to close, no need to wait, you can multiple inks open at the same time. If approved, you'll get the bonus.
Can I have multiple inks for the same business?

Read the rules you idiot. It is not $42 it is $84. You only get 2000 from the first order, you need to make 2 orders to get 5000. Also, I am not sure you can get that special price ($41.95) for the second order, so it may even be more than $100 for 5000 US points.
Wow buddy! easy does it........

Up In The Air / Re: Chase UR Travel
« on: February 23, 2015, 09:46:42 AM »
I have a 2 part question that I was hoping somebody would be able to answer.

I want to book 3 tickets to FL through the UR portal to take advantage of the additional 20% off using points.

Question 1: Are these bookings able to be cancelled within 24 hours?

Question 2: I would like to use the United Card for a nominal portion of the price ($5) in order to get free bags on United.  Would that work?
Ime it's cheaper to buy a ticket  through priceline etc.  Then using chase UR

Ah, so what's the big deal that people make about it costing money to warm up meals? Just that this way you have to eat in your room and not in the restaurant area?
I'm not sure maybe I'm missing something but I asked them for a microwave and they sent me one

I think you guys are right and first settling into a hotel (or at least leaving the bags/food in lobby closet if we're too early) is smarter than going to the beach or hike right away. I'm not sure about our food situation yet, so that can be decided later.

The point I'm seeing is that there's no reason to drive towards Haleakala and stay somewhere near (not even near) there. Is it safe to propose, Yehoshua, that you went to Kula for a night mostly because the Andaz was booked up and not as much because you wanted to be closer to the peak? I think spending all nights at the Andaz makes more sense for me than heading somewhere else. I also haven't really been considering the Regency because the Andaz just seems like the place to stay if you want to do Maui "right".
That's the only reason I stayed in a different hotel the first night because the Andaz was full
