Credit Cards / Re: Barclaycard Jetblue and Jetblue Plus Cards
« on: June 04, 2019, 12:08:25 PM »
IME it happens much faster than 4-6 weeks, without any action on my part.

Thank you, status posted yesterday, approx 4 weeks from the charge that took me over threshhold (and approx 2 wks from that same statement closing).

Anyone have luck accelerating the mosaic status earned through card spending? trying to shrink the 4-6 week window and no luck yet chatting or calling. Happy to HUCA but curious if anyone had results.

Sounds like you used the visa checkout 6 times? Is that correct?

Correct

Lowest price ever! I highly recommend Arlo cameras.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017B2043W

Bestbuy matched this price and you can use Visa Checkout $25 Off $100. Was able to do it for 5 cameras, $600 after NY tax

Thanks, parents have a flight booked in premium economy and trying to decide whether they should risk it and convert the miles to upgrade. Any thoughts?

« on: September 25, 2015, 04:09:27 PM »
Has anyone used their codes to book a 4 night trip, split in two reservations (you and spouse) to maximize promo code discount/limits? Promo is min 2 nights and max $150. Terms (below)  don't seem to prohibit.

Hi everyone, is there a way to search Jetblue award ticket availability? Trying to quickly use some old Emirates miles that are expiring and the only way I know to search award seats is by calling Emirates.

Thanks in advance.

Credit Cards / Re: Chase Reconsideration

You resubmitted the apps & they were instantly approved ? I'd be surprised if the ink gets approved. 4 chase approvals has got to be very rare.
ad to call for the 2nd two but got them approved. Waiting to hear about the ink

Try calling again to see if a different rep sees anything.

Looks like the apps really didn't go through, was able to get csp, chase BA, chase hyatt all approved. Reconsideration has recommended approval of ink plus but needs to go to higher level of approval and i will hear within two weeks. Any thoughts on likelihood of ink plus approval?

Apologies if this has been covered, I applied for csp, ink plus, chase hyatt, and chase BA last night. The CSP was approved right away. The others showed application pending in the browser, no ref # or anything. I called biz recon and personal recon and the only application they see is the approved CSP. Any thoughts?

Tech Talk / Re: Which Camera Should I Get? Master Thread
« on: August 14, 2015, 03:16:44 PM »
Looking to purchase my first "real camera" and I'm trying to decide between:
Canon - EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera
Nikon - D3200 DSLR Camera
Sony - Alpha a5000 Mirrorless Camera
Sony - Alpha a5100 Mirrorless Camera
Sony - Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Camera

In terms of the Sony ones, how big of a deal is the viewfinder? Should it be a deal breaker?
Are there any significant differences between the Nikon and the Canon?

I don't take any specific types of pics (some people mention specifically food or kids or other things which are specifically hard to shoot).

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not to hijack but i'm looking at similar cameras Nikon D3300 - wondering if this costco (also same at BJ's) Deal is worth it. I want a new camera, not a refurb.
