Credit Cards / Re: Chase Reconsideration
« on: December 28, 2017, 08:13:47 PM »
Absolutely right!
I called recon and they were very easy about getting me approved.

I believe the issue in the first place was because of a recent change of address.

I believe I did.
Would recon work with me without asking a bunch of questions?

I am under 5/24 and recently applied for the Ink Preferred, I got the "You will be notified by US mail within 30 days" on the screen.

I just received this letter. It's not such a real business and I definitely don't have a Tax ID for it, is there any way for me to get approved?

Up In The Air / Re: Where should I credit my miles to? - Master Thread

Hi, I'm flying from JFK - SYD and back from MEL to JFK on Quantas Airlines with an infant, where should I credit the miles to? (I've searched the web and can't seem to figure out which booking class I am. I booked through chase travel)
Called the airline, they told me it's fare class O.
It looks to me like the best option would be Alaskan because it gives 100 percent, whereas AA would only give 25%. The only thing is that I rarely use Alaskan so I would have to find out their expiration policy.

No one can answer your without knowing which class your ticket is booked in. To get the answer you'll need to find that out. If you can't find it on your res. call the airline and they should be able to tell you. Once you have that check out the link in the wiki.
Thank you. Right I figured, but have no idea how to figure out which fare class it is. I searched online how to do that but didn't find any resources. I will try calling the airline.

Deals/Deal Requests / Re: Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller
« on: September 06, 2017, 11:48:37 AM »
Hi is there any way to still get the doona at 20% off?

If not, where is the best place to get it from now? I.e. No tax, best warranty, best return policy etc.?

Also what is the best credit card to use to purchase it?

9
Also do they allow a Doona stroller onto a Qantas flight to Australia?

10
Did you try calling?
I did. They put in a request but they said they can't confirm until we check in at the airport the day of the flight.

Thank you. I tried searching a littlle but I guess I didn't do such a great job ;)

no its goes by the airline selling the ticket not the the one who actually operates
Thank you, in other words it would have to be an actual American Airlines or United flight?

I'm trying to book a rt ticket from NY to Australia for Tishrei

When using MR as cash value from a Business platinum card, in order to get the 50% rebate does the airline you are booking with need to be your actual selected airline or could you get the 50% back even if it's a different airline as long as the flight is operated by the airline you select? For example Air New Zealand operated by United or Quantas by American.

Thank you
