Anyone know how I can get the schedule of Shacharis minyanim at Kever Rochel for a Wednesday morning?

I found a website that says shacharis is at 40 minutes before sunrise, but presumably that's for the first minyan and that there are several subsequent minyanim after that.

Can anyone recommend a driver with a van to pick-up 7 people (with luggage) from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem?

I have a price of $150 from a driver I've used before. That price is just slightly more than the cost of the 7 of us taking a nesher sherut (64nis per person, which comes to about $125 total), and probably nicer and more convenient than a sherut.

(Sorry if this isn't the best forum for this question.  If there is a better place, please let me know.)

Thanks

A friend was scheduled to fly El Al from NYC (not sure JFK or Newark) to TLV this coming Saturday night around midnight. El Al informed him today that the flight takeoff time was changed to around 9:30pm - roughly 5 minutes after Shabbos ends.

Why would El Al do that? Presumably it will negatively impact a lot of their customers. (I don't believe for a moment that El Al would harm their business just to spite religious passengers.)

Tech Talk / Calling cards to Israel

What is the best calling card to purchase for calling to Israel from the US?
The card I've been using is 1.2/minute to Israel landlines and 3.9/minute to Israel cellphones.

I prefer a card that only charges per-minute (no connection fee) and the value of the card never expires.

I'm looking for best deal on basic phone rental for Israel (2 month rental). I need the whole phone, not just a SIM.

I need unlimited calling in Israel and to USA and strongly prefer a company who can send the phone to my NY address before my flight so I have it for use as soon as I arrive in Israel.

Best deal I found thus far is $116 + $15 shipping = $131

I need help on getting short-term cell service in Israel. Needed starting Nov 25th.

Here's what I need:
A short-term (7 day) SIM
Nano size
Available to me immediately upon arriving in Israel (either get it in the US and bring it with me, or obtain it at Ben Gurion when I land).

Orange has a 50nis plan for 7 days which would be great that includes unlimited Israel calls/SMS and 1GB of data.

But, how do I get the plan/card?
Can anyone suggest something better than "have someone in Israel get it for you"?  I'd like to have the SIM when I arrive at Ben Gurion.

I need some quick advice on SIM for two short trips to Israel over the next 7 weeks.

I'll be in Israel for 3 days this month, and again for 5 days at the end of November. I need a bit of local calling, a bit of local SMS and some data.

What's the best pre-paid plan to get, that I can purchase at Ben Gurion arrivals terminal?  I know there are some 7-day SIMs available, but perhaps better to buy a fixed-cost SIM that I can use for both trips.

General Discussion / Getting the best deal on Car Insurance
« on: October 12, 2015, 11:32:10 PM »
I have beyond excellent credit and beyond excellent driving record (me and wife).  We have had Geico for many years and never made a single claim, ticket or accident.

It's time for my 6 month renewal and I'd like to see if I can find an even lower price (same coverage).

I called Progressive, and their price was 30% higher than what I'm paying currently to Geico.

Any suggestions auto insurers who have really low prices for ultra-low risk drivers?

Thanks

By phone, you can definitely check.
How can you check the Golan data usage by phone?
Yes, my phone tracks my data usage, but it doesn't auto-reset every month when my Golan data allocation renews.
