You can't use any Tracfone device on other carriers unless you pay $150 to unlock it or use service for one year on the device with TracFone.
Though that device can be used on Verizon, At&t, T-Mobile, which ever carrier you like.
It's basically an unlocked device to use where ever you want. But within TracFone brands.

So can I buy an LG classic from Walmart and install a T-Mobile SIM and it will work?
