Up In The Air / Re: United Mileage Plus
« on: Yesterday at 10:48:54 PM »
Sister is on last flight from CLE-NYC on United and they were delayed almost two hours due to  weather at destination earlier today so got backed up. Could not get flight in the air before crew needed to clock out so now they cancelled flight and only able to rebook tomorrow afternoon.

Does United have the ability to book on American or Delta flights with availability in the AM?

Yes.

Just Finnish booking, hope this works out....
If they were on the Spanish clock, you were a little late.

PUTPAC. I think they officially release it 24 hours before the flight.
And if I PUTPAC I can get it more than 24 hours before?

I liked the 747, more private, especially if you can get the nose.
Looks like they block the first row on every flight, how did you get it?

BA F 777 or 747, same thing or is one better? Is it worth to make a longer stop for one over the other?

I thought the same, but I'm no one to argue with the pros on CB.
How can they be so sure if it was never in court?

Credit Boards pros.
Apparently yes.
We should see how that plays out in court, I'm no lawyer but if the law in indeed that they must give you a reason, I can't imagine that "reviewing the account" in sufficient.

No, but a group of 9 on one flight, will that earn 9k for each passenger?
Yes, just make sure that all passengers are booked with the FFN.

It most likely will transfer to BA but on 12/01 there might be problems with IB.

So the question is, do I book now without the FFN, then hopefully add it later, or not book yet, and risk the prices going up?
It says clearly that you must book the ticket with the FFN.

Was yours a new account too?
Yes. it actually worked for the first booking but stopped after that.

When trying to book it won't allow me to put my IB FFN, it says that my name on my reservation doesn't match the name on the FFN. which doesn't make sense since I'm booking logged in, and selected that I'm flying so the name was input DIRECTLY from my FFN. I tried typing it in manually as well.
Any recourse?
It happened to me last night but started working again in the morning.

Go through security?
Better than checking into an hotel.
