Good summary. He wanted to discuss with R neworth . Legend in kol torah it's that he was in his way to the hospital to discuss and r Shlomo zalem was niftar before he got there.
Either way they told us to put a rock under the insert to raise it
a clump of rolles silver foil should do the job as well, no?

I have been told by some chabad rabbonim that one should do likewise, due to a מהדו"ב in שו"ע אדה"ז definition of hatmana

They sell magnets that you can place over the sensors of the newer fridges. It should work for most fridges. Don't know who makes them, the store here in Monsey, Auction Mart, sells them and has a list of where to place them on each fridge. They work very well for the fridges that don't have an easy tape-over switch
anyone know where a list like that can be found?

what do 150 AA cost/go for now?

The personality of people that leads them into a "law enforcement job" isn't that far from those that end up on the other side of the career path (though I'd venture to say that those that end up on the legal side of things, are either lazier, or slightly smarter). It's safest to keep a distance from them.

If it makes you feel better to think I "hate" chabbadskers or lubavitchers, that's fine with me.

We could argue all day about this.. ( If you really want to know how I feel, I'm going to share, that I'm convinced that chabbadskers harbor real sinas chinam to other FRUM Jews... But I don't really want to go there or start this whole discussion again. )

I'm sorry I mentioned this opposition to the tehillim. It is something that I thought opposition too was well established and understood. Didn't realize it was going to be a whole back and forth.
so the biases are all there but let's not get into them as I have no inclination to defend them. I thought the criticisms were well established and i could just refer to criticism #35 (and meanwhile I'll throw in #27 without discussing it)

This is an issue that effects all of us and will effect all of us for many years if confirmed. It is all our responsibility to demand a fair an impartial investigation.
If it doesn't happen it will be because she successfully avoided it

You don't penalize the alleged victim because she trusted the wrong person. There is no reason this can't be done now like you said: "She certainly deserves to be heard and to have a proper investigation."
the burden of that is on DF

She certainly deserves to be heard and to have a proper investigation. In that interest she turned to a fellow woman Sen. DF, who had the ability to get the proper investigation launched, in time for it to be completed, while still protecting the principals anonymity as requested.
she betrayed that trust, placing politics over feminism, and instead of investigating when that was possible, practical, and effective (effective in getting this story heard and dealt with), she sat on it until it was too late. The entire country doesn't wait on hold for DF's shenanigans. It is indeed sad that Ms. Ford's story may not get the investigation it rightly deserves, and she has no one to blame besides the woman she trusted, who betrayed her for political gain.
