Another question, is there a charge or line to walk around the Roman ruins section with the Arch of Titus, etc, if I dont go into the Colosseum? Thanks
Yes. Itís the same ticket as the Colliseum (gets you in to both places).
But since the Arch of Titus is right by an exit, if you just want to see that, you technically can without going in.

The Pope of Rome was now in Abu Dhabi.  Greeted warmly by Dr Ahmad Al Tayyeb, who seeks the destruction of Israel. Why should a Jew be in the vatican of all places ?!?!?

Make sure not to go to Washington DC as I saw President Trump greeted warmly by Kim Jong Un who seeks the destruction of Israel.

Up In The Air / Re: Is it safe flying with Turkish Air
« on: February 07, 2019, 04:57:38 PM »
Looking at flying from ORD to TLV using Turkish Air is its about $1k cheaper then everyone else. How safe is Istanbuls airport? Going to be going with family, kids range between 7-14 looking at stop overs ranging between 2-8 hrs.  I have priority pass through my amex platinum business and personal cards.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

You mean this airport?

If you pay over $7K in a single visa payment for $72 fee and/or it ends up coding into a bonus category, then it may be worth something.
practically not likely to see any benefit from it
Thanks for clearing it up after 2 and a half years.

The first evening, walk the town.  The Trevi Fountain and other tourist sights.
The next morning. The wiki has the main 3 things: Jewish Walking Tour, Colosseum etc, Vatican.  Pick 2/3 and move quickly. I recommend the walking tour and the Colosseum.
The next evening, fill in with other walking places.
Can easily do all 3 in a full day if you donít Dilly dally.
Iíd recommend the Jewish tour with either of the guides in the morning. Followed by coliseum/Roman Forums with Rick Steveís audio then head over to vatican also with rick steves.

So is this a good executive summary of the food situation? I'm there for two full days, staying right by the ghetto, and plan on eating way too much (milchigs only).

Breakfast: Forno del Ghetto, Flour (is the Flour worth the shlep? It seems totally out of the way.)
Lunch and dinner: mix and match Alice, Baghetto Milky, and Yotvata
Other: Cremeria Romana

Any suggestions which of Alice, Baghetto Milky, and Yotvata are better suited for lunch or dinner?
Alice is a pizza joint= lunch.
BaGhetto Milky is a nice dairy restaurant= dinner.

Does anyone know if there are any active lounges in JFK terminal 5? I see Airspace Lounge closed.

I think this dip will continue to go down for a bit while the market corrects itself, my best advice is to buy some precious metals now since they will be going up during this dip in the stock market!
Iíll buy some index funds on sale now. Iíll buy more if it goes on sale more.
