Can anyone help? I would like to book this and am told there shouldn't be any difference between Delta and Korean on this but that doesnt seem right.

I really am new to this - can anyone help me with my analysis? I am flying NYC-SIN via ICN on Korean Air in Business Class (Prestige Class R) and I can book on Korean's site and credit to Delta or book direct on Delta's website.

a) NYC-SIN is 9,529 miles on Great Circle Mapper.
b) I am a Delta Gold Medallion so there is a status bonus
c) The flight costs $5,157

If I book on Korean, I think I would earn:
Miles - 49,550 (9,529 x 2 x 260%) - mileage flown x 2 ways x (100% base + 100% class bonus + 60% status bonus)
MQD - $7,623 (9,529 x 2 x 40%) - mileage flown x 2 ways x partner MQD %
MQM - 28,587 (9,529 x 2 x 150%) - mileage flown x 2 ways x partner MQM %

If I book on, they estimate my earning as:
Miles - 40,320
MQD - $5,040
MQM - 29,326

It looks like I would earn more redeemable miles, more MQDs but slightly fewer MQMs if I book on Korean.
Does this analysis look correct? Appreciate any help - I am trying

I'm interested in a men's bag if you are selling one. Let me know what you got and the price. Thanks

Thanks. Maybe I'm thinking about it wrong, but I want Delta status. This trip will get me to Platinum and a Japan trip later this year will get close to Diamond. I fly Delta all the time for work, but a lot of short hops. Higher status is great. The MQD might be an issue though...

At about 5k I'd be getting about 45k miles if I book via delta. Not sure what I'd get if i book Korean and credit to delta.

Newbie here and I have read a bunch of this thread, but could use some help.

I am looking to book NYC-SIN on Korean Air in Prestige Class (R fare booking class).

Should I book this via or is it better to book via Korean Air and credit to Delta? I am a Delta Gold Medallion and looked at but I dont really understand the difference. Also, can I earn MQMs this way or is this only about the redeemable miles?

I received a shipment confirmation email for a pair of Jimmy Choo's and my wife received one for a pair of Vince. Each order had only 1 item. Nothing on our other orders, all of which included more than 1 item. I wonder if that is how they are resolving this...

How is the food on Korean Air JFK-ICN and ICN-JFK (Prestige/Business class)? Are kosher meals offered?

How would they compare to Singapore's kosher meals from new york?

No one responded, but just to give an example - an Intracoastal room at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa from 2/10-2/15 is 200K points....but an Oceanfront room 'upgrade' for the same period is 425K or 225k extra points! The charge for that little 'upgrade' is 55k per night or more than the original room. There are numerous other examples of this.

Has anyone noticed the pricing for upgraded rooms at Marriott hotels is bonkers? It used to be an additional 5k or 10k points per night to get an upgraded room (when available), but now even slightly upgraded rooms are pricing at more than a free night! Was this an announced devaluation that I missed or a stealth one or just an IT glitch?

Is KLM all-aisle access on the 744? I think Delta may be the best of these.

After some more research...I dont think so. According to my research today, there are like 3 random seats in business class that are singles, but generally not direct aisle access on the KLM flight.

I need to book a flight today and I have a few choices coming back to NY in business class (flight out is fixed due to being after Yom Tov). Any recommendations on quality of seat, service or KSML or alternatively one to avoid? I don't know much about these things and appreciate any thoughts.
My options are:
1) Air France @ CDG - looks to be A380-800
2) KLM @ AMS - 747-400 mixed configuration
3) Delta One - 767-300

I've been googling around and so many different reviews but hard to find right product

Is this still True? Do you need to book with United card to get free bag? What if booked already and then apply for card? Will that work?
