https://www.gov.il/en/departments/news/border_closing_coronavirus_14062020 - Makes no mention of 2 weeks prior to the flight....

https://embassies.gov.il/new-york/ConsularServices/Pages/COVID19PERMITS.aspx - says only 2 weeks prior to flight......

Has anyone gotten approval for more than 2 weeks prior. Will  משרד האוכלוסין be the best hope?!?!?

I believe they test for spike protein.

Thanks

To clarify the other two responses to your question in other words: When they say Coronovirus tests they mean PCR tests to confirm you donít have a current COVID infection, and when they say serological/antibody test they mean a test to show you recovered from a previous infection and your immune system still has antibodies present above a certain threshold, which would make you less susceptible to reinfection.

Which antibody test are they performing? Nucleocapsid (N) protein or Spike (S) protein?? Those that have been vaccinated and never had covid should in theory only show Spike protein, not Nucleocapsid.

Which serological test is being offered in Israel? Has anyone heard of foreigner being vaccinated with Pfizer and failing Israeli serological test?

Quote
Different serology tests detect antibodies to different parts of the virus, but after vaccination with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, the antibodies formed will only be to one part of the virus: the spike protein. Some serology tests do not detect antibodies specific to spike protein at all, while others are specific for antibodies that target regions within the spike protein (like the receptor binding domain, or RBD). For example, the Roche Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S assay detects antibodies to spike RBD, while the the Platelia SARS-CoV-2 Total Ab assay from Bio-Rad detects antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein. Commercially available serology tests should not be used to seek a positive antibody result after vaccination given the differences in vaccine targets, and current EUAs do not authorize individual serology testing for measuring vaccine efficacy. Therefore, a negative serology test after vaccination does not necessarily mean the vaccine failed and reinforces that serology tests should not be used for this purpose.

Is it possible to book this fair, or is Turkish on ITA synonymous for not showing bookable flights?

Applying for an e-visa online you are limited to 30 days. It's possible to get longer through the embassy. One can also extend their visa in Vietnam. Also, one can use this company: http://www.vietnamvisapro.net

I was in Ho Cho Minh for 3 weeks, and hope to never see that country again.

That site seems to offer the 3 month visa.

Is it such an issue getting the visa at the airport when you land with the approval letter?
