First of all you cant get $1000 by swiping 4 x $200 GCs . Someone else fill in the rest .

Nope.

Running clean mode is simple if you are following instructions exactly.

Thanks . I  will try that carefully

Windows 7 in the performance tab (more details when you open the Resource Monitor):

In Windows 10 on top of the list:

I did not even try running   that clean mode . I am afraid it is above my skills .

Today while scanning with Malaware bytes , it took over 1 minute to open a Firefox browser and the memory was at 2.67 out of 6 MB and the CPU stayed at 20% until the last few seconds .
Can you glean anything from that ?

Thanks

Could it be my hard drive going bad . Gets
Noisy when running a few programs.

If not any other things to check ?
Have done scans , malaware bytes
Etc .

Other ideas ?

When I run Ccleaner it is slow to scan
But CPU never gets high usage ?

Should it ?

I cant  double click task  manger but I can get to where you are from search , and I am looking at exactly what you have on the screen now

a@ overview

it says 45-69 %  cpu   **usage  **   sorry that was frequency

CPU usage is bouncing around at 7 - 28 %

A@ Disk it say   1% Highest active time

@ Memory it says 40%  used physical memory

ETA. I finally got to the Task Mgr > processes you were telling me about before . It shows 5 firefox exe running using  250K + K  . is that correct when I only have one browser tab etc open ?

In Windows 10 on top of the list:

My win is Home Basic and when I right click on taskbar the task mamager it opens has no performance tab or anything but the processes running

and show processes from all users only gives the the abilty to end process on the bottom right

If I open resource monitor from the 'start 'search window it says

Overview < CPU , Memory  ,Disk  < Network

and is not the same as yours.

ETA   Also in my resource monitor under memory it shows 5 firefox.exe  Running ?

Exactly 5 mins after restart I opened Firefox and for all the images on the Yahoo home page to fill in took about 2-3 secs.
Then I also opened IE and it was about 5 secs.   In task manager about 5-7% of CPU is being used by FF and IE
Also in " show processes from all users "
System Idle is using between 80 - 93  with FF and IE using the rest

Logged into Yahoo em on IE and took about 6 seconds to fill in Yhoo mail page

My I3 HP 17 ' laptop ,running win 7 with 6 GB of ram is getting slower and slower every week.
Would adding 2Gb of Ram make an appreciable difference . It is 3-4 years old .

I disable a lot of services and did not notice any difference .
It even seems slow to close out a browser .

I ran the HP memory diagnostic and it said everything is fine .

Got same offer, purchased delta gift card, credit appeared 2 days later, and gc does not expire.. I also met the spend and bonus points posted at statement closing date .

To Buy the gift card, it says from who to whom . Did you make it from Yourself
In case they are not transferable?
