I was wondering what the name of the shul that has the kiddush is? I am referring to your trip report from Panama.  Also, you mentioned that you ate at Rabbi Laine's house on Friday night . Do you have contact info for him? My last question is do you know if the hilton or the waldorf astoria is within the eruv? My husband and I are planning a trip for this coming February. TIA

i have not been on the cruise yet. i know people who have gone. i dont know enough with regards to how it would be with kids. i cannot imagine it would be any different than flying.

Look up mano cruises. they have 5 day cruises that leave from haifa to greece, that are relatively cheap

With the latest offer from Capital One: I applied for the card. I already have a capital one venture and a sparks business card. I was denied because they say I opened too many cards in the last 24 months. The same thing happened to my husband when he applied for the card. I applied for 6 cards in the last 2 years. Is anyone aware of a limit in credit card  applications for being approved for Capital one cards? I called reconsideration and spoke to a supervisor who wouldn't budge. I have excellent credit

I did not bother applying at home since I am way over 5/24, as is my husband. We made friends with a banker, became CPC, applied with him. Reconsideration moved credit lines from other cards per banker's request and were both approved! Daughter pre-approved in branch, even though she was slightly over 5/24 and was instantly approved!

I had the Marriott card about 20 months ago under my personal name. Question #1 - Is this offer available for a business as well? Question #2 - If it is, and I apply as a business application, will that count as a new app or will they consider that I had this card (personal) 20 months ago? TIA

for the citi credit cards rules, if i applied for a business card 30 days ago, can I apply for 2 personal cards 8 days apart now? Meaning, does citi count the 8day/65 day rules for business and personal cards together or are they totally separate? any help is appreciated!
