Can't believe this hotel thread is close to 100 pages,
Was there in the winter and all I gotta say is I'm totally  unimpressed, it's way way over priced
The breakfast that everyone is moaning about doesn't compare to hotels in telaviv that charge half price for a stay, in my opinion it's all about the name, and happens to be that the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan put this one to shame

WA NYC is a four star property I'm not sure in what way it puts this to shame?
Lot's or people here won't eat the breakfast at Hotels in TLV also AFAIK there are no nice hotels in TLV that charge less than 300/250 SUM/WIN.

Has anyone been to Galitzky in St. Moritz in recent years? What are your thoughts, dining food etc. Anyone has done that in comparison to KMR. I Have done KMR before and I am looking to match that standard, Alpen-Kawanserai in Austria is full for the dates I would like to go any other suggestions.

Booked a plan b nyc-vce for tomorrow- the agent told me to book it on the computer as a saaver award to save the $25 booking fee, on top of the $50 close in fee- when I called back to change the ticket to a plan b- agent told me it costs an additional $50 close in fee cuz I am changing the class of the flight- anyone ever heard of this before?

-We used 2 free Hyatt nights in a suite that my wife got for opening the Hyatt credit card.  While the nights were set to expire 04/30/12 (13 months from when she made her first purchase on the card,) Hyatt email customer service extended them and allowed us to use them in May.  For the next 4 nights we used 18,000 Hyatt points per night (Chase Ultimate Rewards points can transfer to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio) rather than paying $500 per night (if you are staying on paid nights watch out for the 21% local hotel tax!)  We confirmed via email beforehand that we would be able to stay in a suite for the entire stay as they don’t make you switch rooms once you are booked in a suite.  As she had diamond status at the time of the reservation the hotel also agreed via email to give us complimentary daily kosher breakfast.

I'm looking to go for a weekend staying at the Saint Regis Bal Harbour over Shabbos. Does anyone have experience being there over Shabbos and being able to use elevator {high floor} refrigerator and automatic doors.
Please let me know.

I know for sure the residences have a Shabbos elevator don't know about the hotel, did you call and ask?
