I dont know enough to say inferior - that you should research - but I can imagine there is a difference. Pellets, offer a variety of different wood types, which is transferred to the food in flavor - a fun element of cooking with wood because you can change up the type of wood to get different flavors. I don't think you get that with lump charcoal, but maybe you do, and maybe it is more economical to cook on charcoal I am not sure. All I am saying is that, this would be the question to ask. 

I can tell you that I am mostly happy with my GMG pellet (mid-size)...

I just returned from Orlando, the Wiki can use plenty of construction, I flew Spirit which is not a flying option in the Wiki, great airline (just kidding but BH we didn't have any issues) carried a Doona on board, on both ways they didn't know about such a stroller car seat, Winn-Dixie had a fully stocked kosher section, I mean they literally had everything (except for fresh salmon), kosher paper goods, fresh meat, frozen meat, pizza, fresh Challah etc etc. vacation rentals is for some reason not clearly elaborated in the Wiki, we stayed at ChampionsGate so were plenty of other Yidden, which I think is waaay better than hotels and in most cases comes with a Minyan too when Jewish schools are off, there are different Jewish Brokers which are usually cheaper than Airbnb etc., I booked with @Mr Orlando great service, was always available to answer any questions and did his best in resolving any issues, there are a lot of people doing private catering which would be nice to add to the Wiki. we visited Gatorland nice place for kids which is interesting for adults too and doesn't break the bank (not on the Wiki)

This is on the tip of my tongue as I arrived back
