Just cancelled an IB award booking today and want to rebook. The rep told me I would receive my avios back within 48 hours. Anyone with experience on how long this will take. It took 5 calls to get someone who actually could cancel an award booking. I'm concerned I'll miss the 12/1 booking deadline.
Supposedly no changes possible with these promo avios

We would like to inform you that it is not possible to credit the corresponding Avios for the promotion, since we noticed the Iberia Plus account linked to the bookings belongs to a minor that was registered as an adult.

In order to process the corresponding registration of minors, it is necessary that you send to ibplusmenores@iberia.es a copy of the minor¿s and parent¿s (guardian or legal representative) IDs or passports and a signed and filled copy of the registration form (Signatures between documents must match).

My daughter (under 18) got hers posted. Only got 81K -- must have messed up one of the bookings.
My two older children, both over 18...neither of theirs posted yet. Go figure.

Yep. All info was accurate, except for passport number. When I made the account, I made up the number. Before I sent in my passport, I changed the passport number on the account to reflect the one on my passport.

it was the best thing I did I sent them and a email they sent all the food with milk to the port and my hotel went to pick it up .when I arrived to my room it was there all packed with ice

BTW for all their talk about "inconsistencies" they wrote a completely different account number in the email even though the correct one was in the subject line.

What were the "inconsistencies"?
