Not even close. At least not until they start caring about refundables.
Your average Joe (not me) can sell his miles pretty easily.

Point is, for a lot of us (with limited spending resources) miles act as a CD to save up towards travel costs we would otherwise be hesitant to cover out of pocket. In doing that, we willingly forgo the opportunity to earn cashback. A+ is the same thing in a different format.

Only to a certain extent and miles are definitely not cash in the same way.
It requires a bit more work, yes, but at the end of the day it's all about how you set your mind and what you expect out of your CC spending.

I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment, I'm just saying that you could use the cash back just as easily to repair the leak in your roof as you can on a vacation. What you actually choose to use it for is irrelevant, it's a cash back card just like any other, just book a refundable.
Same can be said for miles.

Yes. Bay Harbour, Bal Harbour, Surfside are all in the same eiruv. It doesn't cover the beach, although it does cover the walkway next to the beach. Also you can't walk to Sunny Isles as it's outside techum shabbos.
Awesome. Thanks.

Does the Eiruv cover a walk from Bay Harbor to the Shul?

Credit Cards / Re: Large spenders. Best startegy

Unless you are redeeming the points yourself, which at 6MM a year is unlikely to be the case, 2% cashback is the way to go. It might need some work getting your desired credit line with a card like the Capital One Spark, but it's doable.

Friday night and Shabbat shul options for Cape Town? Staying at the Sea Point. I saw there was a fire at Morasha recently, anyone know if it impacted operations? Any shul has a small kiddush during the day?
Chabad.

TK has saver space that sometimes shows only on their own website as well as Asian partners (such as ANA, SQ, etc.) that doesn't show up on European and American partners.
Is it bookable over the phone with UA?

So the pic is in front of the Ritz. I just want to know if they accepted your free night cert purchased on DDF under somebody else’s also very Jewish name.
No need for a cert. The Ritz now offers free nights for opponents of the state.

All in J except flights to BKK and VCE
Unless you returned by ship, you're missing a leg there (Following TLV-LAX).

looking into a trip to PAtagonia in March iyH.
I land at 5:30am in BaAs and take off the next day at 7:30 to go to FTE. Am I crazy to spend that day going to Igauzu for 6-8 hours? Or should I just see BaAs?
Stay in BsAs.

Once again, working backwards based on scanning through my pictures rather than keeping better records  ::)
But I think this is everything.

Lie-flats flown:

EWR-TLV UA J 77W
TLV-EWR UA J 77W
MIA-EZE  AA J 77W
EZE-IAH UA J 772
Are you saying you don't keep track of your flight history?
