Politics / Re: Republicans breaking with Trump's coup attempt

It may not be a coup, but it's certainly the textbook definition of sedition.

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof , they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

Thanks but I'm looking for cheaper then that
Was anyone staying at the BeachScape?
Or at the Fiesta Americana?
They are both not far from chabad and cheaper and from reviews sounds pretty decent
Does anyone have experience there? And also what is the atmosphere ? I am looking for one on the quieter side
I stayed at Fiesta Americana Condesa (not near Chabad) and it was nice but certainly wasn't luxurious. Grand Fiesta near Chabad is supposed to be nicer, though isn't all inclusive (so no free alcohol).

Thanks for the response,
Ill be at the Rennisance for 3 nights as well followed by a airbnb for weekend,
Is bringing in kosher frozen food an issue?
And any specific must see/do's ?
I brought frozen meals and the hotel stored and heated them for a fee... But I feel like that's not going to happen these days.

I'll share the link to my TR.

Hi guys
Has been a while since anyone posted here, is there a different thread for Aruba or did i just pick a unpopular destination for my next vacation
Going for a week early January looking for basic info
People may just not be travelling due to the *checks notes* pandemic.

For starters, I know they have specific testing and insurance requirements, so check them first.

Otherwise, I went last January, stayed at the Rennisance. What do you want to know?

COVID-19 Discussion Board / Re: Lakewood covid cases

So far no uptick (personal observation). Obviously we all contracted it already lol.
Too soon to tell. Takes 5-10 days to show symptoms from exposure.

My question was asked objectively and wasn’t taking sides. If what you’re saying is true why is the statement all about PCR, and “flowerly” so?

Also, 24 hours after abatement of fever for COVID? The official guidance I’ve seen was 3 days or longer after abatement of (all?) symptoms.
The cdc website now says 24 hours. I also had thought it was 72.

Disclaimer: I am by no means a Trump supporter and think he is a despicable human being, but I am capable of being intellectually honest.
I think it's become standard practice that you don't need a PCR negative test to establish non-infectiousness and that 10 days from onset of symptoms + 24 hour fever free you are free to go back to society
That was some word salad if that's the point he was trying to convey. Something seems off.

Remember, this doctor hasn't been completely forthcoming with the condition in the past.

Thanks for posting. It just me or is this so flowery that it’s hard to tell if the PCR test came back negative or positive?
Ding ding.

You could see from the picture that he was very separate from anyone else.
And how did he get there?

President Trump is planning to host hundreds of people on the South Lawn of the White House on Saturday for his first in-person event since he announced he had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The president was expected to make remarks from one of the balconies at the White House to the crowd, which was expected to include people attending an event elsewhere in Washington staged by Trump supporter Candace Owens.
Nobody wore masks and there was no distancing. He's learned nothing. He just doesn't care.

I'm sure he'll be helped by the elimination of cash bail, so he'll be able to incite more riots in short order.

I find it hard to believe that the leader of the mob is acting le shem shamayim.

This is the absolute last thing that's needed. I can't imagine a single posek of stature is supportive of this.

That was a Psak I received months ago during the  April peak, and I have no idea if it would be applicable now. As I said, I don't know the metziyus of what these individuals did.
