BUMP

In other news https://www.local10.com/news/local/2020/01/13/thats-not-kosher-nearly-100-rodent-droppings-found-in-kosher-kitchen/

Mozart Sunny Isles, Mozart Grill and Mozart Cafe Boca are not affiliated with the Mozart in the article.

How do you plan on getting around the rest of the time? Why don't you bring car seats with you?

American Opportunity credit is a refundable credit (or at least a portion of it is )
https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/individuals/aotc
you can possibly get back $1000
He is asking about the Lifetime Learning Credit which is non-refundable

Student here. Accountant in 2017 forgot to include my tuition expense which (I think) would allow me to get a $2,000 credit via the Lifetime Learning Credit. Only got a $314 refund that year. If I file an amended return, do I receive the $2000? Thanks!
No - it is a non-refundable credit - can only be used to offset tax due.

Any shuls with an earlier mincha minyan (1PM?) on legal holidays in the Boca/Deerfield Beach vicinity? Need to say kaddish and have a 4PM flight in FLL on 12/25. I don't see anything on godaven.

thanx - it was a check written out to business so there's no 1099, and wasn't deposited til a while later. Which year was it supposed to be filed as income? Since the payer was counting it as an expense from the previous year I filed it for that year as well even though I only deposited the next year. correct or not?

It is income when the check is received - the date of the check and the date deposited are not relevant.

There isn't really anything sit down for breakfast other than Great American Health Bar on 57th and 6th.

You also have Milk n Honey (limited seating but not very busy breakfast time) and Jersualem Cafe (more of a pizza store vibe)

Milk n Honey, My Most Favorite, maybe Tiberias?
This and Great American Health bar too. You also have Sunflower and Coffeeberry (when they reopen) if you want to go upper west and Noga if you want to go lower east

Thank you. I contacted my accountant, he told me it is complex and suggested to contact the State Dept of Revenue specialist. I am a little scary to do that to avoid problems in case I did something wrong in a past....

I know there a a lot of individual and small companies selling on line, there should be answers available...

It is too new to have reliable online resources. My firm has a whole task-force dedicated to 'Wayfair'.

Thank you so much! Can accountant over here to confirm that? If that the case, is there a service that would assist me filing tax exempts in my and/or other states?

This is no longer a simple answer given the recent Wayfair decision (google it). I would suggest contacting a professional and discussing your specific details.
