I just moved into a house in Nassau County and I would rather learn on to fight taxes myself rather than employ a lawyer who takes a 40% cut. Does anyone do this on their own already and if yes, any tips/advice.

Hey DDF folks, my wife is leaving me for two days (going with friends to florida for a couple days!) and I was wondering, I wanna go somewhere for one day, by myself just to chill, I need a good trip idea. It does not have to have kosher food or nice hotels, I just wanna go somewhere i would never go with her (she only likes to go on vacations that have beautiful hotels and kosher restaurants when we travel) and see something new/cool. It could be an attraction/sports venue/ beach/casino/indian reserve, as you can tell i am open. My only parameters are it has to be direct from a NYC airport and has to leave early sunday and arrive back either really late sunday or early early monday. Got an ideas peeps? TIA
