Hi! The Italian consulate or the USPS messed up with my daughter's visa they sent it two-day air to the wrong location and we had to cancel my daughter's ticket. We booked it with Chase Saphire, is there any way that insurance might cover the extra fees?

thanks!

HI! We would like to plan a trip to Russsia this Summer to go to Lubavitch and Rostov and maybe stop in a different country on the way back. We have 66,000 Chase Saphire points right now which can be transferred to United miles or Avios or others. What is the best value if we want to get the most out of our points (we may have a little more when it comes a little closer).  We have enough for a one way ticket to Russia or Rostov. We don't mind going one way through Prague, Ukraine or Slovakia.  Money is an issue and we want to be frugal. We have somewhere in Moscow to stay as well as someone to drive us to Lubavitch.

What is your recommendations?

Thanks again!

Up In The Air / El Al Up- has anyone flown it from Prague?
« on: December 10, 2013, 01:02:16 AM »
HI!  Just wondering I bought a mileage ticket from NY to Vienna in July stay for Shabbos and plan to take a train to Prague and stay there for a night.  I was trying to decide if I should use miles or pay for a ticket from Prague to TLV.  I saw El Al Up which is very cheap.  Is there any way to ship a luggage from Vienna or Prague to Israel to the airport for cheap or is the El Al Up flight not worth it.  It seems that a one way flight is $100 with taxes and includes a carry on but, if you want to take a luggage, they charge $400, is that true?  Is there any way around that?

What do you recommend?

The other flights from Prague to Israel are extremely long such as 12 hours long versus 3 hours and 50 minutes direct.

Thanks for all!

General Discussion / Need Advice
« on: August 22, 2012, 11:57:34 AM »
HI!  Firstly, we went on vacation for three nights thanks to the Dans Deals tip about Raddison bonus 50,000 miles.  Just wondering, we had a nice vacation, however, the hotel rooms are thin and we were woken 1:00 at night with our neighbors TV, we were contemplating calling the front desk and then thank G-d they shut it off.  Also, after a sleepless night with our newborn, I was woken up at 7 am by our neighbor's TV.
Has anyone ever complained and gotten anything? What do you recommend?  It seems trivial, but, both things really robbed our sleep.

Thanks!

HI!  I am wondering what you would recommend for booking a trip to EZE without any miles?  Where would you look for that?  I would prefer to go from den-NY-EZE or den-eze.  What are your recommendations?
Thanks!
