ASIDE FROM PRICE - Can this be the best way to liquidate GC? I mean it will combine all GC, CC & DC into one - so no cashier would know the difference..?

Thoughts, or just silly?

Credit Cards / Kiva.org - lend money via CC/GC

Has anyone heard of this?
Seems like a great way to MS, unload GC - as long as you have the money to float for a few months...

Anyone have any info on whats gonna happen with apple pay..?
Seems to me that if the rumors are true - .15%/transaction is very very low...
5000*.015=$75...

Would love a new way to liquidate GC...

Credit Cards / Return item after sign up bonus is credited
« on: April 02, 2014, 04:48:11 PM »
Was wondering why I can't buy a ring from Costco on my CC to meet spending threshold and then return 3 months later after I'm credited te sign on bonus (credit the points to BA so they can't be taken back from Amex/Chase)

Thanks

Hiya -

After reading all the posts and info on Vanilla Reloads -> bluebird, I started the process...
Got Bluebrid
found CVS which let me buy 5k in reloads

but then I emailed Chase to confirm that purchases at CVS qualify for the 5x points using my Ink Plus
i told them that I bought a whole bunch of holiday gifts for my office and waned to confirm etc.

they wrote back this,
"I am writing in response to your inquiry about the rewards
for a transaction with CVS Pharmacy on your Chase Ink Plus
business credit card account.

We sincerely regret to inform you that the merchant CVS
Pharmacy is a drugstore and is listed as a drugstore with
Visa due to which, the transaction will earn only 1 point
per dollar spent for your transactions with this merchant.
We are very sorry for all the inconvenience you may have
to experience due to this.

Please be informed that Visa and MasterCard systems assign
a category code to each merchant, based on the kinds of
products and services they sell. Sometimes the system
places merchants in a generalized category, like
"superstores" instead of "grocery stores" or "gas
stations."

Since the merchant in question was not assigned an
appropriate category, your purchases do not qualify for
the bonus reward."

Is there anything I can do?
Am I just out of luck?

Thanks for everything
