Credit Cards / AmEx SimplyCash Plus Business Card Bonus Offer
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:55:45 PM »
Just received a notice that I was "selected" to apply for the new AmEx SimplyCash Plus Card. $1,000 cash back on $10,000 purchases in first three months (my business expenses should cover that).  5% Cashback on wireless phone services and 5% off a category of my choice (e.g. hotels). No annual fee.  Seems like a great offer.  Thoughts from DDF experts?

Deals/Deal Requests / 3M Dual Lock Fasteners- Free Sample Pack
« on: October 11, 2012, 08:48:31 PM »
Nice sample pack of 3M Dual Lock fasteners free at :

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3M-Industrial/Adhesives/Promotions-New-Products/Reclosable-Fasteners/?utm_medium=cpc&WT.term=3m+dual+lock&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=IAT_Fasteners&WT.medium=cpc&WT.campaign=IAT_Fasteners&WT.srch=1&WT.content=text&WT.source=google&utm_content=&WT.mc_id=3M_IATD&utm_term=3m+dual+lock&cshift_ck=f6bd714a-e689-4818-aaa8-8ea72ceac184cs5EaUXcAF

Click on "Request a Sample".  These are excellent strips with adhesive backs that work beautifully to press the refrigerator toggle buttons to keep the fridge lights off on Shabbat when opening the doors, but can be removed during the week.  Stick a small piece on each side of the fridge button, then stick a large piece across the two smaller strips- the light button will stay pressed in and the light will not turn on.  Works way better than the Velcro strips.

« on: July 29, 2012, 01:23:03 AM »
Is the "pay as you go" lounge in Terminal 4 at JFK still open? I have a 7 hour layover. Is it worth the entry fee?  Another option is to head into Cedarhurst for lunch- How much is a cab to Cedarhurst?

Up In The Air / Davening in Airports
« on: August 17, 2008, 09:19:29 AM »
Dan, thought of a good topic for frum travelers.  Can you start a board with listings of private or quiet locations to daven in airports?  Not all of us have access to the airport clubs, and have to look for a private place to daven (particularly Shacharit).  Readers can contribute to the board as they find quiet places to daven.  This would be a unique but needed service to your readers.  How about it?
